Title Once upon a Small Town Spoiler
I want to like this show, but the acting and the writing and the directing is so bad. Who looks for a contact…
They may have been looking for it because there are no optical shops in the vicinity where they live. You could put a dropped contact in cleaning solution overnight and it's usable again. (I'd throw it away 100%, personally, even if glasses suck, thankfully I've no need for neither for years now.)
And FL cleaned the glasses with a clean cloth. Also, living in the country, especially as a vet is way less sanitary in general, your city dweller sensibilites are simply triggered.
Personally, I'm waiting when someone eventually gets tetanus in this show πŸ˜….

Title Adamas Spoiler
I want to binge watch Adamas but some comments made me hesitate to start. My question : is this drama that BAD?…
It's not bad, some people just don't like slow burn dramas and most likely dropped it after a few episodes. Also, there's no romance, so that's a let down for many as well.
It's definitely not dumb overall, but some characters, like prosecutor twin are sure reckless.
There are multiple villains.
The drama starts like a mystery novel in a creepy house full of secrets where writer twin needs to find a murder weapon. As more things gets revealed it shifts into a story about revenge and a classical SK plot about taking down powerful corrupt chaebol family and their corporation. Also, if you've seen Graceful Family, chaebols here also have that sort of secret corporate division that cleans after their shit - it is unscrupulous, lacking any morals and is pure evil.

I was also bothered by the fact that he said he has a gf yet FL is still trying to be close to him. (Yeah, I know…
I dunno, I don't see her doing anything gross here, like agressively flirting or trying to get physical. But she doesn't care about personal space, that's for sure. But that concerns all the other villagers as well, they all act too familiar with everybody. Maybe that's what ticks you off. As a city dweller that's what ticks me off the most in this drama.

Well, he's not married yet, so he's a "free real estate" still πŸ˜†. And FL clearly still has a crush on him.

If that bothers you, you shouldn't watch it, this is not a teenager drama. After all, FL was supposed to marry the guy, they did all sorts of things together already. And in late episodes he comes back trying to get together again.

Hey is there any love triangle between ML - FL - SML ? ;d
There's no SML per se, but FL has an ex-fiancee with whom she has a rather complicated unresolved relationship. He doesn't have much screentime though.

Title Adamas
this drama is what they call all style no substance... A convenient and boring script with some very good actors…
I disagree, but it's not for everyone, for sure. If you like more action, fast paced plots, lawful good protagonists and obligatory love story then don't watch it.

Title Adamas
Adamas writer/s must have had a huge thirst for bloodshed. Almost every ep, there's bloody killing or torture!…
It's to show how irredeemably evil the bad guys are and how deranged that Sun character is.

Title Adamas
There are reasons why some thriller and revenge dramas have gone viral with such high ratings:1. Vincenzo: The…
He's got brains, the writer twin at least.
Also, he's not alone here. Aside from his twin brother, there's also SIH and other characters that work against the bad guys. I find their struggles to nail the bad guys more realistic than winning all the time like in other dramas, or watching dumb circus and premature bragging like in Vincenzo, Military Prosecutor Doberman, Cafe Minamdang, Again My Life and the likes.
Pesonally, I like underdog protagonists more than some super special fearless heroes that are just perfect and spotlessly lawful good. In Adamas there are a lot of grey charactes, which is refreshing.

Thank you!!! Someone that agrees. Boy had years to confess his feeling but only starts acting when she starts…
This trope is common since forever, dramas didn't invent it. More classical name for it is "the dog in the manger" - the dog doesn't eat the grain himself, but prevents others from eating it too. When it comes to relationships it usually means a person gets jealous and realizes his feelings only when his love interest gets interested or is about to be taken away by somebody else. There are countless plots about it.
Personally, I hate love triangles in general, no matter how they arise. I hope they're not going to drag this shit until the last episode. But I've heard from people who read the webtoon that there's ML's gf on the horizon as well, so soon it gonna turn into a love square πŸ™„πŸ˜’

It's based on a webtoon - ML does have a gf in it.
They don't have much time here, indeed. It's just 12 short episodes, while webtoon is still ongoing. Which is not a bad thing though, means the plot will condense everything that is diluted in these typically over bloated webtoons. I just hope they'll manage to do it competently.

I typically don't like these sort of snoozefest slow village life dramas, but this one has something interesting about it. I dunno, maybe because it's based on a webtoon, which usually have more structured sub-plots. It does look like each episode is about something new. Also, that this drama is short helps with tightness of the plot, there's barely any overly prolonged scenes or unnecessary sub plots. And for once, this type of drama doesn't have any dark secret shared among the villagers or soapy sad background story for the leads.
I also like that it's about a vet, I like animals and it's interesting to learn something about their job in the country.
All in all, looks like a nice light short drama that feels like watching someone's summer vacation in the country.
And actors are fine and their characters are cute, but for some reason some people sure are specifically nitpicky here πŸ™„. Whatever.

Is there a bit of romance? If so, between who? Thank you!
There is romance between ML (Choi Sun Woo) and FL (Yoo Mi Seo).
Also, diner owner ajumma (Jeong Haeng Ja) is weak for pretty faces, so there's tiny something between her and the hippie hobo (Kang San).

Title Today's Webtoon Spoiler
Ahh, what the heck is wrong with Shin Dae Ryuk's mom? No matter what happened, you can't chain a person like a dog! Basically, she substituted one painful memory with an even more terrible one. Kids are not dumb, you can explain what is prohibited to them. And accidents leave deep impressions on them, especially if they are scary and life threatening. And better yet, she could have asked her neighbours to look after him at the very least.
Also, why didn't she make contact with him way earlier? Sorry, but I just can't accept how easily she's forgiven here for chaining him up, abandoning him and then returning only when she's on the verge of forgetting him due to dementia. She's a very shitty parent no matter how you look at it.

One of my relatives had a similar experience when she was a kid. It left such a deep memory of what happened and how parents scolded her later that she still recalls it up until this day. It also made her self-conscious of how wary she is never to repeat it.
