it's probably due to plastic surgery. she looked weird in forecasting too
Yea, I was thinking the same, she looks weird here. Like a victim of a plastic surgery gone wrong. Latest teaser just really highlights that there's something very off about her face: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J46pHaPpg3M
I know she did some plastic surgery already earlier, but here it looks like something extra was done. 🤦♂️ Personally, because how wooden/unnatural her face started to look in dramas starting from What's Wrong with Secretary Kim (2018) I can no longer find her acting enjoyable anymore. She was better way back during Healer times, when she had a more natural looking face.
You’re better off not watching this drama if all you do is nitpick and complain about the characters. What’s…
I'm all for character development, but after 17 years there hasn't been much of it seems, especially for ML. But of course, it will start now with the law cafe 🙄 . I can critique the ridiculous premise if it's ridiculous, can I not?
Let me guess, they're all ongoing and we're watching the same ones. What a whooping coincidence 🙄. Also, not all ongoing ones I'm watching are bad for me, but praising comments are not interesting, right? Some people just can't pass by any critique of something they like...
I can't believe some people are hating joy's character here. She is the cutest. Its okay not to feel the character…
I agree, aside from tropey countryside interactions with the locals there were not enough episodes to deserve the bashing. I think it's an ok drama so far and because episodes are short it doesn't have the time to transform into a sappy soap like Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and the likes. Just a simple comedy about a city guy out of his element and his life in the country.
Ugh, ML is such a dumbass 🤦♂️Another one suffering from noble stupidity. Because he's related to the scumbags (look up the relationship chart in the photos section) that painted FL's late father as a drunkard at work, he feels guilty and pushes her away. Because of his family he wasted so much time, instead of being a prosecutor and being happy with FL. He even told his cousin doctor to stay away from her as well. Yea, very 'mature' 🙄. Let's not talk about the important things, instead let's run away and beat around the bush for 17 (!) years. Also, he's what, secretly investigating that case for so long? I get that when he was young he couldn't muster the courage to ask her out for real and then learnt about his family involvement. But dude, you're so old now - time to start thinking what you really want out of life already 🤦♂️🤦♂️. FL is not much better - first she friendzoned him from the early days, then asked him to fake date and now she still has no clue why he avoids her. This is so predictable and also rather cringe, because actors look old here, would have been more natural if they were younger. Not a disasterous miscast like in Kiss Sixth Sense, but could have been better.
Btw, this relationship chart sheds some light on ML's family relationships: https://kisskh.at/photos/2pO5P_3 He also may feel partially guilty for FL father's death since his uncle framed him as a drunkard on the job.
Btw, are you guys not worried that Uk may die if he removes the ice stone from inside himself? I mean, he got mortally stabbed and resurrected with same bloody clothes still on him. Also, eunuch Kim was pretty much dead and petrified, but resurrected after the ice stone was put inside him, and then died again when the ice stone was removed. Sure, Uk is not petrified, but what happened to him clearly was with the help of the ice stone inside him.
And with all that said, when he realizes that he has the ice stone why can't he use it like he planned from the start to give it to Mu-Deok to unpetrify her? I still don't get this part - why her petrified body is unsalvageable, but ash that is og Naksu's body is? Still looks like an unnecessary plot twist for the sake of shock value.
The filming is ending for everyone. I saw some people are nuts in twitter saying he must have died... we dont…
Why would CP die? His character simply may have less screen time than the others and furthermore, it's common to shoot scenes out of order. His actor just did his part and that's it. Some people seriously need to take a break and take off their tinfoil hats 🤦♂️.
Damn Koreans, especially small village/town people sure seem quite intrusive unlike anywhere i have ever seen…
Yes, every kdrama about the country life in the boonies has very nosy neighbours. Must be part of their culture - everyone helps everyone for better chances of survival. I think Japanese culture is similar as well, but more strict for those who stand out. Also, life is slow and boring in the country in general, so they've nothing better to do but gossip about their neighbours and nose around. Just accept it, or don't watch it. Also, definitely don't watch Hometown Cha Cha Cha if you hate this trope.
Too predictable and not very funny. Frequent 4th wall breaking is out of place here, could have delivered character exposition in a better way. Basically, after several years of fake dating, friendzoned ML, who secretly loved FL, couldn't simply ask her to start dating for real and then just had enough and left without explanation. FL was too dumb to catch on and even after all these years can't figure out why he avoids her 🙄🤦♂️ Now she wants to open a law cafe in the building that he owns and lives so they gonna bump heads again. 16 episodes looks like too much for this plot. Probably gonna waste time by diluting it with some court drama and side problems.

Doesn't disprove anything I've said above, on the contrary. But some things may also not appear in kdrama adaptation. The details of their past already seem off.
