i like Yul more than the ML..and he looks like Cheng Yi lol...
It seems that everyone who favors Yul are just in it for his looks. What about his lack of character development and actor's bad acting skills with perpetual poker face? Yul actor has nothing on ML actor, imho. Just a subjectively pretty face.
I have to say I am laughing by now at all the posts about how basically dare we be unhappy, and express it, about…
I'm not that upset about the main couple breaking up, tbh. I'm somehow not too invested in them as a couple to begin with, and I'm sure they'll make up in the end, because this cliche plot's been done to death in kdramas. More upsetting was the hamfisted execution of their break up with some out of character behaviour.
But how they handled MW and SY in the last two episodes is what pisses me off the most 😡🤬! MW should be punished for bullying and undermining FL, him suddenly acting like a normal person shouldn't make his past deeds go away. It's especially bad considering it sends an ableist message that's it's ok to trample over disabled people, because normal people too have problems.
And SY shouldn't be such a dumbass for him all of a sudden, completely out of character - she knew he was an asshole all along and hated him all the previous episodes. And now they're gonna pair her with that sly weasel instead of some genuinely good guy like she deserves? 🤦♂️
⭐Just My Opinion - Please don't take it to 💛⭐Penning it down cause I was disappointed with last 2 episodes…
I disagree about MW not agreeing to TSM's plan. He already started enacting it by talking to WYW about her times in Hanbada, with suggestion that another firm may be better suited for her, and sending that evidence envelope to lawyer Ryu under her name. If WYW was caught disclosing that information she could have been fired. Don't ascribe him any noble motivations just because he suddenly stopped being a jerk on Jeju island. People don't change, especially so suddenly. It's just bad writing trying to make us sympathize with that skunk weasel with these cheap shots.
And Hanbada CEO's motives were disclosed already, albeit partially in a deleted scene. After dumping FL's father TSM stole her rich boyfriend and then married him. And TSM's law firm is a big rival to her own, she wants Hanbada to become number one law firm in SK.
can some please explain the relation between mu deok, so-i, and cho-yeon's sister?? i am kind of confused
Mu-Deok's body is actually Jin Bu-Yeon's, 10 years lost elder sister of Jin Cho-Yeon. So-i is a thief who knew Mu-Deok/Bu-Yeon from Sari village, where Bu-Yeon ended up living after almost drowning in the lake (porbably lost her memories). So-i used her kindness and even robbed her. She was looking for Mu-Deok in the capital to use her again, but got captured by the villains. The villains forced So-i to play a role of fake Jin Bu-Yeon, so that mama Jin would accept her and in gratitude turn to the villains side and support them with the might of Jin clan.
I heard there's a breakup scene. And I'm at ep10 waiting for all episodes to be out so i can binge.
Yea, many sudden sub plots were introduced in the last two episodes, not sure why so late and if there will be enough time to resolve them. Feels like ending is going to be rushed. But the most jarring thing was that many characters started behaving way out of character, from main couple to side characters. And they're hamfistedly trying to make the audience sympathize with a skunk bully, even paired him with SFL 🤦♂️ Guy deserves to be smacked with bad karma and fired, not rewarded.

The break-up trope is a staple of kdramas, I was prepared, even though it was badly executed. There were other, even more obnoxious things that pissed a lot of people off this week. Not sure I'm looking forward to where it is going right now.
Exactly and i think its because she's rich and he needs money
If that's another one of his ploys I'm down for that, I'd understand that. But if this sudden 180 change of character supposed to make us forget all about the crap he pulled earlier, it's just bad writing.
Well, EAW totally let me down today, it's spiraling down the drain in terms of plot quality all of a sudden. Coming back here to a comfort zone. I hope AoS won't get ruined by bad late game plot decisions as well 😬🙏
I think I'm one of the only ones who doesn't see so much chemistry in the main couple, they have never really…
I see what you mean. But it seems that the plot is being fast forwarded frequently and we only see key tidbits of their dating, after all, each case usually takes weeks if not months to close. There could have been more romantic scenes though, I agree, instead of boring cases or side characters' suddenly appearing sub plots. And yea, it didn't seem like ML was enjoying his time with FL lately.
Yeah, unfortunately some autists (not all, it's a spectrum after all) find it hard to feel empathy and understand…
But she was shown to have surprising insight and understanding of the feelings of others multiple times throughout the episodes, even in this last episode with attorney Jung. Why is she doing this to ML? Also, she has no filter usually, talking about what's on her mind straightforwardly, but here she can't even say why she dumped ML? Seems just a convenient out of character cop out for that extra cliche angst of breaking up.
I was not expecting breakup cliche episodes here, just because of the nature of this show. Everything seemed relatively…
Well said. I felt the same, it was cruel of her and it can't be covered by her being autistic. She was shown numerous times to be able understand and empathize with people.
He didn't follow up on his win, but squeezed a promise of out of her to help someone (herself or Uk) to come with…
She's still a servant. Yul doesn't want to order her around, so he allowed her to return to Uk. But I'm thinking it's showdown time soon, with all the masks stripped off, and she'll soon be aknowledged as a noble - either as Naksu (Cho Yeong) or Jin Bu-Yeon.
Ugh the hardest part for me about this is that how realistic their” break up” is.. him being so hurt and lost…
Yea, I'm sure they'll get back together. I'm not worried about it, tbh. I'm worried that the last two episodes are done hamfisted and it may be foreshadowing the quality downgrade for the finale. Better not expect anything grand or super satisfying I guess.
But the biggest thing that really pisses me off is Min Woo's sudden 180 turn into a nice guy. Isn't it sus or what? Will he not get smacked by bad karma for his atrocious behaviour towards FL and reflect on it? Will he just get together with Soo Yeon? And why is she suddenly into him?? She knows his godawful personality, why are they making her do a 180 as well??
Judging by episode 15’s preview, it sort of feels like the reason they had decided to reveal Jung’s illness…
I'm really starting to doubt writers skills here to convey anything meaningful, but showrunners said earlier in an interview that they wanted to make FL a good attorney in the first half and excellent in the second. So maybe this lack of cushion in the face of mentor Jung and confrontation with a senior attorney is about giving her a kickstart to start taking care of cases on her own? After all, how long are they to stay rookies under supervision?
Based on what Ep. 16 told us, the power/energy is not inherited by "blood", it is inherited by "soul". Jin blood…
Then by this logic Uk is Jang Kang's son? Late king wasn't even a mage. Also, can Jang Kang's sword be a proof of kin like Jin vault door? Only Uk can unsheathe it?
Doesn’t Minwoo represent the portion of society with unfair prejudices against the Youngwoos? He doesn’t need…
Agreed. Would have been more satisfying to make him screw up finally and reflect on his actions, there would have been a moral about this at least. But this sudden change into a mature suave dude is just completely out of the left field, makes me suspect him even more, tbh. People don't change, especially so suddenly.
Goddamn it! I knew something like this was going to happen, it seems no matter how good a drama is we still can't…
Yea, the change of the overall vibe and characters sudden weird behaviour makes you think that there's a several episodes worth of plot lost somewhere and we just skipped it unknowingly.
Why does everyone have an agenda against Tae Su-mi? She's not a great person but we gotta know more about the…
Everyone? Not everyone, just an old rival and reporters. Hanbada CEO's reasons were already explained, even though one of them in a deleted scene - TSM stole her boyfriend back in the day who later became her husband, TSM is a rival in the field that needs to be taken down for Hanbada to become number one law firm. And reporters are digging because TSM is a candidate for minister of justice.
What about his lack of character development and actor's bad acting skills with perpetual poker face?
