You guys are weird, why it has to be Jang Kang of all men? He wasn't even that close to mama Jin and loved his own wife. It could be anyone. Late king, general Seo, papa Cho, some random dude of some random family, someone who's already dead, etc.

I think if she stays in Bu-Yeon's body, mama Jin won't allow anyone near her anymore. And any guy wanting to marry her will have to go live in Jin clan and drop whatever job it was they were doing or aspire to have. Not a good scenario for ML. Also, kinda doubtful that if Naksu is exposed and real Bu-Yeon finally identified mama Jin or Songrim would allow Naksu to continue inhabiting Bu-Yeon's body, they will want her gone and dead.

If Naksu dies and Bu-Yeon lives then whatever, mama Jin can have her.

If Bu-Yeon's body dies with Naksu still inside then that's gonna be the end of them both.

So ideally, Naksu gotta find herself less prominent body nobody would care about or somehow get her own back.

They want to kill the real queen who's been imprisoned in burned shaman's body. The poor woman 😥

He wanted to have a child with King's star, maybe he was going to various women, just like his successor. And Bu-Yeon in the end was born around the same time as Uk.

Not Jang Kang either. If you watch a scene where mama Jin asks him to help her give birth to Bu-Yeon with the ice stone they're not that close. If she was his daughter, he'd be aware and all over it from the very beginning, not grudgingly.
And he loved his wife, who have a tryst with another woman?

Or Naksu is simply unconsciously hibernating when Bu-Yeon takes control. She doesn't have the memory of what happened because she wasn't in control. Doesn't mean Bu-Yeon erases her memories. She was said to be a very kind person, so I doubt she'd do anything weird like that.

It transferred the blood of Cho-Yeon into fake Bu-Yeon. And then they said it will eat her inside out without their magic, so she'd better behave. Probably weren't lying, those villains are nasty.

Yea, she doesn't take note of anything happening to her body, even though she at least should have wondered why she, after all this time, hasn't turned wild with no energy. Only now when it's practically thrown in her face that the body is Bu-Yeon's she starts to suspect something.

Yes, they can trap souls and block mages power. But it's very weird with Bu-Yeon, seeing as her soul is hibernating in her body, while Naksu is in control. Mama Jin and all the other mages need to be conscious and their hands free to cast spells, nobody was shown to be able to do it as a soul not controlling the body. And the alchemy of souls ritual is supposed to be automatic, but BY as a soul was able to stop it for Uk.
So again, should have just knocked out mama Jin, soul shift her and kill the other body. Deal done.

Nah, what BY was doing to Naksu and the way she helped Uk was clearly something special, probably because she has the ice stone inside her. She was a special child from birth.

They could have simply knocked her out/drugged her, soul shift her and kill the other body. That way she'd be dead in another body and won't be able interfere with anything.

I think it will end with her presumably dead, lol. Part 2 maybe will end on a good note though, if she'll even be there that is.

I feel kinda bad for her. She's a survivor, life sure was tough for her and she became a thief not for the fun of it, surely. And even if she is shown to like her new fake noble persona, she's also terrified of the villains who made her do it. And now she has a death switch/worm inside her body - if she disobeys them, she'll die. What's more, she's not totally evil - she hid the info from the killer about Mu-Deok and Yul. And we'll have to see whether her feelings towards them will help her get out of this terrible trap or lead to her demise.

I still don't get why they couldn't just kidnap mama Jin with the help of papa Jin and soul shift her ages ago? Why go through this elaborate scam when their end goal is mama Jin anyway?
They even managed to soul shift the Queen who was guarded more carefully, so this plot is just pissing me off with being so draggy.

They need Jinyowon's support to openly attack Songrim. That was their main plan. Jinyowon is full of female mages as well.
