That whole missing daughter bollywood style drama starts to really piss me off, tbh. The way they're dragging it for half the season until the very endgame, instead of doing some other more varied plots is just ๐๐ฅฑ๐ด This is the plot, guys. Bu-Yeon's story ate up all the other stories. I feel like Naksu is getting sidelined here. And mama Jin is such an annoying obsessed dumbass I don't even care what happens to her anymore.
Ok, mystery woman from episode 1 is not shaman Choi, different faces. But papa Jin is her real brother and a villain, who married into Jin family and sired only second daughter ๐ Also, poor real Queen, somebody save her ๐ญ๐ญ
If she wanted to protect the four families from being killed by Naksu this would be the way. So makes sense that…
Yea, but how could she know about what Naksu was up to? Can she read the minds of souls as well? Naksu was powerless immediately after waking up. Or did Bu-Yeon made her powerless because she got scared of her in the beginning?
What Cho-Yeon said about Jin clan priestesses - that they can trap souls and block mages souls' powers. Did Bu-Yeon do this with Naksu's soul? Did she block her powers?
I have to calibrate my expectations. It's hard to accept certain plotlines when I think of them as the end of…
I agree. I suspect they watered down the story for money's sake. Also, since it's on Netflix it's even more likely the reason. Starting from this year due to poorer revenues as one of the policies Netflix started chopping its shows into parts to keep the viewers subscribed.

Good for you if you think that. But I think it's gonna be bad if it ends midway on a cliffhanger with no resolutions to the plot, the resolutions we'll have to wait for unknown amont of time until part 2 releases. I hope I'm wrong and this part's plot will be concluded, with some new one starting in part 2. But judging by how it keeps on dragging I kinda doubt it. Also, by how it keeps on dragging and the amount of unnecessary meandering subplots and love triangles this show definitely could have been concluded in 20 episodes.
spoiler, but are the twins related to the chairman? Seeing he smiles like and looks like the eldest dead son!
No, it's just it's confusing because of the bad synopsis and tangled introduction. Their stepfather was killed by Adamas arrow and it was pinned on a guy, who will later be revealed to the writer twin by his mother to be their biological father. So, their biological father is on death row right now. He's got less than a month until the corrupt presidential candidate wins and reinstates death penalty. And same goes for his case's expiration of stature of limitations - if the twins won't prove the real culprit did it by that time, the culprit will walk scott free.
Btw, about Choi shaman. Maybe it's the woman in the first episode who lured people to feed them to her soul shifter son who ran wild? The one who was killed by Jang Kang? She is bound by revenge on Songrim after all, maybe not only because of times past?
