I heard and it’s rumor that the writer and director are planning for season 2 and 3 of this drama and I wish…
I doubt it will happen. And that article you’re referring sounded rather pessimistic about it, quoting showrunners themselves. It is very rare kdramas get second seasons, even very successful ones. And the fact that this one had a completed script for a long time only for one season; they barely managed to convince FL actress, with no guarantee she’d want to continue the same gig or won’t have her schedule filled for something else; and ML actor going to serve in the army for more than a year it doesn’t seem likely there will be season 2. And there doesn’t need to be one. Personally, I’d rather them finish the story they wanted to tell and leave it on a beautiful note, instead of running after money.
Me neither, tbh. It was a surprise kiss, the girl was shocked, should they've started making out already? And I…
Probably because she was jealous of the pretty and well dressed Heo girl already and then saw how cozy they were at the clearing. And yea, he said he liked her, but he never complimented her as woman.

I actually didn't get that scene at first, thought something was off with translation. But after rewatching it I figured out she was there to check the rumors if he's really switched to master Lee and is drinking chaste tea, so she dared him to prove the rumors wrong by hugging that Heo girl, because she thought he doesn't think much of her as a woman/doesn't treat her like one.
I don't know why people are complaining about the kissing sceneWhat were people expecting?

And I dunno, there's this other drama ongoing atm and guys where making fun of strict, cold and professional FL that she doesn't have a "romantic bone" in her body, so vague flirting doesn't work on her. Kinda sounds like Naksu as well. She was either surviving in the woods or assassinating people for the bad guys, living a dangerous life so to speak. Did she even have any prior romantic relationships? And I'm not talking about that childhood thing with Yul that ended abruptly anyway.
Which funny scenes are your favorite?I recall there was quite a number of them in the beginning, but fun stuff…
Yea, Uk's character is well written, he's got a classical hero fighting through trials thing going, but he's also flawed and it makes it funny. His actor is doing a very admirable job as well.
Can we talk about how bloody funny this show is?! Not a single episode goes by where I'm not canning myself!!!…

Seo father will be in part 1 allegedly, Seo uncle will be in part 2. I'm beginning to think they really are prepping for leads to come with Seo Yul to another fortress, where Seo elders are commanding the army (?). But what about returning characters that live in the capital? Like CP, Park Jin, maidsercant Kim? They'll follow them as well? Also it's very expensive and long to create new sets, but they've started filming already 🤔
If you're a kdrama fan and never watch the original, you will enjoy this a lot.And even if you watch the original,…
I was thinking maybe I should watch the original but then I saw it has 41 episodes and I was like, nah. I'll just watch the abridged SK spin on this story, I guess. One thing that looked like a weird addition to me was that pseudohistory spin on united Korea, but whatever.
Your comment is contradictory. You're not reading a manga. You need to understand this is a different media, you…
I dunno, I only feel romantic vibes from this tangled mess. If it's people of the opposite sex - one of them pines for the other. If it's people of the same sex - one is another one's rival for love interest's attention. Some are in denial, some invented everything in their head, some live in the past and it all just gives me a headache. Even master Lee forgot about his chaste tea and enlightened solitude of living as a forest bum and now hangs around Jang house on a permanent basis and brings flowers to maidservant Kim. Platonic? As if, lol.

You know there are other ways to show character development and bonding other than trying to pair all of them with each other on a romantic basis. There could have been side plots about camaraderie building, friendship, hanging out and training together. But no, all we see OTP couple being surrounded by third wheelers with barely any individual plot or character development going for them.
