I am glad that the scores for a drama are not overrated for once. So many trashy dramas are overrated here on MDL and equally many great ones are underrated it's hard to find anything actually good judging only by the scores.

I'm thinking FL and ML need to go to ballroom dance classes to learn waltzing together for real 💃🕺. They looked good doing it together at the rotating door and in Pengsoo's house in episode 4.

Just read the first sentence at the very beginning 🙄 - "On July 12th several media outlets shared that the tvN drama "Alchemy Of Souls" has started production for part two." Also, lower: "The team of "Alchemy Of Souls" responded to the circulating reports. The team confirmed that the production for part two is already in the works. " Production = filming.

He didn't steal it. It was officially given to him to publicly burn down. But I wouldn't put it past him to stash her somewhere in his lair for whatever purpose. Guy's a trickster, gives me such Slytherin vibes 🐍.

It's not gonna be easy to digest for us, the audience, as well.

There's also an option that Naksu will somehow get her body back. Since there are rumors of her actress replacing JSM as FL in part 2, I'd say it's not impossible. Also, it's fantasy, so the writers can come with anything to bring her back - from resurrection with the ice stone, to secretly still having her body on ice in the villains lair with the one on the pyre being fake.

Actually, Uk loves Naksu, he doesn't care about Mu-Deok's body and he doesn't know Mu-Deok/Bu-Yeon at all. But I agree that for us viewers it will definitely be awkward if Naksu gets her body back. This kind of plot twist works well only in the novels, not on screen.

When she's impersonating Mu-Deok she uses a village bumpking accent and cheerful dumbass tone. When she's alone with Uk she uses her normal tone.

Read this article. At the very beginning. Also, several actors were already posting photos of themselves from set and there was even one phone quality video of one scene being filmed. No info on who the FL will be though.

Depends on what episode you're atm. Last episode and next week's preview show main story starting to ramp up for the inevitable showdown with the villains.

What do you guys think Seo Yul and Heo Yeom will try making our leads do by tricking them into giving promises?
I'm thinking it's obvious that Heo Yeom is pimping his granddaughter and will tell Uk to marry her for that given promise.
Yul will definitely try separating the leads by either telling Naksu to go with him or tell her to convince Uk to go with him.

Either way, it's gonna be some manipulative cringe. Never give promises with unknown terms, kids!

I don't remember her. Probably one of the nobles that they soul shift into new bodies.

I'm not buying it, some people are just not cut out for it. Uk, CP, Danggu and Cho Yeon are also played by very young actors (some even younger than him) and the latter two are idols as well, but they are oozing with charm. Yul actor's just bad.

Or he may be just a bad actor, cast simply for the pretty face.

Naksu is not petrified, her body was publicly burned at the pyre. She's ash now.

But yea, I gave up trying to figure out what will happen next some episodes ago. The plot never goes the way people expect here.

Yea, if people voted as actively as they do for EAW this drama would have been a 9.0 long ago.

The only people of relevance to Mu-Deok that he could conceivably try taking with him with her help is either Mu-Deok/Naksu herself or Uk. But none of them would go with him to some backwater fortress for any reason. And especially not separately, like he secretly wishes. They won't be parted from each other.

I think JSM has the most difficult role here. It's basically 3 in 1. Good thing they switched a noob actress (the one that dropped out while filming a pilot episode, don't recall her name) with a veteran JSM.

That Yul stole Naksu's body is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read here, some fans are just grasping at straws trying to justify his actions 🤦‍♂️. And it completely contradicts what you write here about him being lawful stupid, black&white, etc. He won't disobey his superiors and steal a criminal's body, he has no means to procure a dupe body to give to the villain and he doesn't know tricks or illusion spells to make a fake pyre. The villain, on the other hand, could do all these things, if there's any reason for him to keep it, which there really is none.
