I disagree. It's very common to fall for someone if you spend lots of time together and been through a lot together. And they have been through all that and more.

I'm resigned to accept it too if it comes to that, personally. I'm rooting for Naksu character in whatever body.
But I'm still hoping it'll end up being a rumor, the actress is very good, I'm attached to her.

I'd rewatch it only for the scene where Mu-Deok is sitting in the rain and another where she's contemplating what maidservant Kim said to her. These were important scenes cementing the leads relationship. Those endless love triangles don't interest me in the slightest either.

Also, there were two blink and you'll miss it scenes concerning eldest Jin daughter. She was with ML's father when she found the Ice Stone and ML's father pushed her into the water to get it - in the end he was alone on the boat and camera pov was looking from the water, drowning.
That was not 20 years ago, but 10!. So, he was in hiding all those years and to a point in cohoots with the villains! It was already said that he was researching Alchemy of Souls on his own, prior to king's request, but this sheds a bit more light onto his sudden obssession.
And another one was concerning Mu-Deok's character - her so called friend thief wants to use her because she's too kindhearted and she got the Jin emblem band from her. Maybe something akin to Mr. Queen is going on here and Naksu's becoming softer not solely on her own.

Nobody's happy with it. But for plot's sake part of the viewers are more or less ok with it. But actually, it's not officially confirmed that there will be a change of FL, it's still just rumors being milled.

But you're right in one thing - he shouldn't be just sitting doing nothing, he should confront Naksu about this, or report her. Otherwise he may get himself in a situation where he not only lets his fellow mages down but also Uk and Naksu. Being so indecisive is the worst trait to have.

Yea, Yul so far is underutilized in the plot and aside from the pretty face his actor lacks acting skills and charisma. Compared to ML he's just a pale boring shadow.
Maybe he's gonna go down like SML in Mr. Queen. Or maybe he'll turn to the dark side, or gets possessed. I'm just waiting for something to kickstart his character, but if unrequited love/crush is all they've in store for him it's gonna be very disappointing.

FL actress was in the recent interview where she said they were filming her doing action scenes for a whole week. That was for the last part 1 episodes. So I expect she will regain her powers.

I keep waiting for that guy to become an interesting character, but aside from having a childhood crush on Naksu he doesn't seem to have any plot or character growth. Such a bland character, tbh.
Even bubbly goof Dangu is more entertaining and has some plot going for him - he likes Cho Yeon and sooner or later probably gonna face the decision to inherit position from his uncle or marry into Jin family.

Yea, I can tolerate only CP. But it's because he's a comic relief in the scenes with FL.

They allow guests and their entourage to enter. But they don't allow resident mages to have personal servants, and mages who haven't finished basic training can't leave. Them's the rules.
Looking forward to Mu-Deok winning that servant competition :)

People are annoyed that more and more characters get intruduced that are pining for the main couple. Their numbers are just getting out of hand. And misunderstandings with these characters concerning their crushes on ML or FL keep eating away at the plot without adding anything useful to it. There were already too many such characters and now they've added one more.

Well, it is as they say - you don't miss the water until the well runs dry.

Right, so far we haven't seen it being used to eject a soul shifter soul from the possessed body, but it's probably called that way for a reason.
