Question...How did Gil Ju become a soul shifter? I mean, he tried but failed so technically his soul is in his…
Good question. But so far we've seen only ML's father and King's successful return to their bodies with no consequences. However, it may be because ML's father was in the possession of the Ice Stone at the time. So it is not known how it usually happens when the soul returns to its body. Also, Gil Ju's ritual failed, so maybe something went wrong.
Just bc the leads are clearly into each other doesn't mean other people can't fall for them? It's common to have…
I'm not against other characters pining for the leads. But I'm against so many characters pining for the leads, it's getting ridiculous. It's like if there is a young character that is introduced they immediately gonna fall into one love triangle or the other, lol.
EP 940:25 – The pretender said that she is a mage from one of the main families. Did Bu-yeon tell her or did…
Looks like this new thief character is no real friend of Mu-Deok. She abused Mu-Deok kindness. And Mu-Deok told her about herself, so she's not with amnesia or anything.
My heart was heavy when they wouldn't allow Mu Deok to go with her man. This world is so unfair.
Yea, anybody who still ships FL with other characters gotta see that scene again. ML is also not budging for anybody else, maidservant Kim spilled everything to FL already, lol.
Also, I've rewatched the first episode and there was this water dragon scene in the beginning. Maybe nothing, but water dragons are veeeeery popular in Asian folklore and myths. This whole fantasy kingdom is water kingdom as well and everything revolves around water there. Maybe water dragon is sealed inside the Ice Stone or it is water dragon's egg?
Episode 9 felt like filler one, didn't even show the teased servant competition yet.
And soo many annoying scenes with forced love triangles and side characters pimping ML. Both leads, aside from each other, have 2 admirers each now. And even side characters got their own love triangles 🤦♂️. Why bother with this when it's evident that lead characters are into each other already. Some side characters seem like they don't even have a plot of their own aside from being an annoying SML or SFL that gets in the way of the main couple. That new Heo girl, for example, like all women immediately got interested in a cold bad boy who saved her but doesn't pay her expected attention, she probably already invented everything in her head and gonna get very annoying soon.
But at least something new was shown about Mu-Deok though, confirming already confirmed theory about her being Jin. Out of everything shown I was most interested in what was her connection to ML's father and what she's done to the Ice Stone.
Watch at your own risk and only if you're ok getting your blood pressure boiling high, because of the frustration and anger you'll feel by watching this makjang bull**it.

This article just repeats the source and rumors with added flair. It's not new. And it's not confirmed officially that part 2 will comprise of side-stories, nor that og Naksu will be the lead. Jeez, those media outlets are like those gossipers in AoS's episode 8, lol. Started with one thing, ended with some ridiculous exaggeration.
Don't go looking for k-drama comprehensive scores on imdb. Viewer pool there is tiny.
Hard to say. Imdb usually is ok, but only if the score pool is no less than 10k, which only happens to very very popular k-dramas. AsianWiki and kisskh frequently have overrated scores even for complete trash if it's popular and underrated ones if the show wasn't promoted well/wasn't on popular channels/etc. Personally, I stopped looking at scores when it comes to k-dramas and just watch them if synopsis and trailers caught my eye. If you look only at scores here you may miss an absolute gem.
I've been thinking about it some more and I guess I'm ok with FL changing back to og Naksu body, if that's where the plot will lead to. And she actually wasn't looking halfbad in the scenes she was in. Overall I just hope that Naksu character gets a happy ending in one body or the other.
But I think this whole body swap twist, if true, sounds better on paper though, than on screen. If I was reading a book, I'd have no problems whatsover with this plot twist, because I'd be more attached to the character and her actions, not focusing on her looks, which are usually not frequently mentioned after inital description anyway. But watching the show this gets perceived differently, because we get attached to the actor playing the character by seeing her all the time. Hong sisters may have gone too deep into their scripts here.
