If the Queen stayed as herself she would have either offed herself eventually or stayed as King's enemy because she was too timid to go against the grain. And wouldn't have gained King's attention for sure, especially with that concubine bitch around. All her personality changes can be attributed to the guy.

I doubt it, this drama is too lighthearted to end like that.

I watched with fine subs, thanks. But that's what happened. Would the King have expressed interest in the timid Queen in the first place, like he did with the guy inside? No. What got him interested is her erratic behaviour, personality, cooking, mannerisms and even that dictionary full of strange words. That all was the guy. The Queen was always in the backdrop.

The best part of the show was when the guy's soul sorta merged with the Queen's and he started thinking himself as her. And it was the best version of the Queen. But then he left in the end.

I'm betting on the latter. Nobody there fits the bill.

How can any male at the law firm be her son, lol? She said: 1) he spends most of his time on a computer; 2) he doesn't want to follow in her steps and is still finding himself.

I disagree. The person with whom the King fell in love wasn't the Queen per se but eccentricaly behaving guy in her body. The Queen had practically no say in what was going on with her body, aside from a few times taking over due to lustful feelings towards the King. You can argue that her memories and feelings made the guy softer and even accepting of his fate. But still she was just the watcher in the end. And when the guy left her body the King even mentioned that something was missing with the Queen. She remembered all that happened to her, even some mannerisms, but it was obvious in the last scenes she wasn't anything like that guy - just her old self, but with newfound confidence.

Don't go looking for k-drama comprehensive scores on imdb. Viewer pool there is tiny.

No need to get defensive. I did, you basically said she's not convincing in her role as other actors. An opinion that many people disagree with here, because there's a variety of ways this role can be played.

I liked that actor since "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim?" where he payed a goofy executive and friend to ML. But I like his new role here even more, he's such a cool character.
