But does the Ice Stone have consciousness? I kinda doubt that the real Mu-Deok is the emobodiment of the Ice Stone (or part of it, considering that it is in the possesion of the queen atm). I think she's the vessel of a part of it, but she has her own soul.

They just had to nitpick to save face, don't sweat about it. There was a room full of cheaters who dragged a much weaker mage into a duel and who was supposed to die in it. But he cheated back. Asking how the ef he managed to do it was natural.

And now Uk has an even bigger history with Naksu. Shouldn't mean anything.
I think the point of Yul character having history with Naksu is to have a friend on the mages side who'll cover her ass. And he already did by not revealing who she is.

They cheated Uk by dragging him into that duel. They all knew he was too weak and will die in that duel. So fight cheating with cheating I say.

Why can't Naksu care about Uk? She's human too. And becoming less cold-hearted with each episode. I wouldn't ascribe to her other person's feelings, since she's in full control of the body aside of two minor occurences.

What's so confusing? Real Mu-Deok's soul is still inside her body and is helping the leads, because it has some connection to the Ice Stone (she has part of it inside her maybe). She may stay that way forever dormant, or get combined with Naksu's, or sacrificed, or something else. But possibility for Naksu to stay in that body exists.

Uk proved that he was able to control his energy in a spectacular fashion. And since all the other factions wanted him as well, Park Jin just finally caved in. Uk will still be a mage no matter where he goes, so there was no point in stopping him from entering Songrim anymore.

For whatever reason Jang Kang started learning alchemy of souls a year ago before ML's birth. And late king got wind of it.

The real Mu-Deok is a mystery connected to the Ice Stone, a part of it may be inside her body. And the Ice Stone is the source of the alchemy of souls. So she may know about the alchemy of souls more than your average person and can stop it from happening. Also she was there instead of some random girl when Naksu performed it. Was it willingly?
But basically, she stopped Uk's soul from leaving his body.

Maybe they won't be separated in the end.

Looked like the real Mu-Deok knows everything and more. And has some great power. She's watching over the leads.

I think it's gonna be more about stopping the evil queen from repeating a massacre on the scale of that of 200 years ago by misusing the alchemy of souls.

A new character was introduced - Sejukwon grandpa Heo's granddaughter. She seemed quickly into Uk already.

Master Lee will have to stop drinking that tea if he wants some love. Which I doubt he will :)
