I wouldn't put much stock into it. Probably a working title or mistranslation from Korean. You can even read it in the synopsis here: "hwanhonsool" - the soul of the dead return to the living. Does this term mean return, or alchemy of souls, or whatever else is known only to native Koreans.

Artifacts were saying that the Ice Stone is inside Mu-Deok's body. That past scene with the mage and the blind maiden is unclear. Was it even the same mage? Just two silouettes. But the blind maiden was involved in the grand rain summoning ritual. And also somehow involved with the Ice Stone. Probably why Mu-Deok was blind in the past and went blind after leaving he vault - something involving magic is happening with her eyes.

Yea, the guy was clearly upset and disappointed with her, he figured out she was lying about the jade. But it's how it usually goes with SFLs being bitches to FLs because of jealousy. Let's hope she'll start seeing Dangu in a different light soon.

Girl is a total brat. I especially found it jarring how she said she will sell Mu-Deok and then closed the doors to the vault and left her to die just to cover an inconvenient lie. But I suppose with her mother being a cold-hearted bitch as well it's not surprising how she turned out to be.

But hey, I think when it will be revealed that Mu-Deok is the lost daughter she will have a host of suitors. Maybe even the Crown Prince, since he pines for her as well.

I really don't like it when writers can't contain the story even within a generous amount of episodes. I really hope this season has self-contained story. I really hate waiting years for new seasons to come, which also is not a given that they will air.

The villain already did suggest that to Jin mother. But suggested it be the younger daughter, not the elder, otherwise crown prince will have to go to the Jin clan, which his family won't allow.

What about team Naksu? Girl had it rough all her life too. I'm rooting for both leads to have a happy ending, not the sad or cliffhanger one.

I found it funny too, especially how confident and calm he was while roasting them. SMLs have no chances with him around.

Ice stone is inside Mu-Deok's body, but it she's her own person with a soul. And her soul is still inside her body, it was already shown in the previous episode.

Reincarnation is overused in k-dramas. I hope there is none in this one.

We'll have to wait and see. I fear for FL as well, if she gets ejected this will have a sad ending indeed.

No, in the earlier episode it was shown that Mu-Deok's soul is still inside her body somehow. She even sleepwalks as herself when Naksu is sleeping. Since in today's episode it is revealed she also has the Ice Stone inside of her this whole mess as to why this soul shift went so wrong starts to make sense.

It's ok to feel uncomfortable watching these types of plots. Some people even like them, they are usually prevalent in makjang k-dramas. Personally, I can't stand them because I empathize too much with the victims of such nefarious plots and get very frustrated and stressed out watching them.

So lots of expected and unexpected twists in this episode:
-As expected Mu-Deok's body 100% belongs to Jin clan's eldest daughter.
-Naksu's father was indeed soul shifted and done dirty. Somebody used him to cover up ML's birth record. Expected. But who was the culprit? ML's father? Also, what happens to the host's soul when the shifter dies? It dies too?

-Ice Stone that is some sort of deus ex machina for the alchemy of souls was introduced and it is INSIDE Mu-Deok's body. That's why Naksu's soul shifting is wouthout a trace and she still inhabits Mu-Deok's body without going wild and turning to stone. UNEXPECTED! Was this Ice Stone in Jin clan's vault earlier? Some Songrim mage tried to steal it and Jin clan's eldest daughter got involved and disappeared?

-Main villain has soul shifted eunuch bring him soul ejectors. Looks like the current queen has a stash of them. I'm beginning to think that there is someone behind the main villain. And he knows about Uk's original birth record and plots against him knowingly, it seems. He's in cohoots with the current queen for crown prince to stay in power? I doubt it's his end goal somehow.

-ML got soul shifted! Goddamn, what a cliffhanger!

Also, I'm sorry but SMLs definitely have no chances with FL when such a great ML is around.

Is this epsiode gonna be the twisted mirror world one, where characters act not like themselves?
