I recognized what they were laughing about only because I watched Goblin. There was a similar joke there when Grim was choosing a name for himself and this one was one of the three options.

I think FL's teammate got annoyed about preferential treatment most of all. That's why he questioned his superior why he still hasn't fired her. Good thing for FL to be this brilliant, otherwise I'd say her teammate's complaint may have been justified.

What? I certainly don't think this drama is cute because FL has autism. The fat guy with another spectrum wasn't cute, tbh. Autistic brother of ML in It's Okay To Be Okay wasn't cute either.
Also, why people can't use the word cute here if it perfectly describes it? This drama is cute, imho, because of FL's personality and her reactions to the situations she's presented with. Also, her BFF is cute in a tomboyish way, and ML is cute in his attempts to become closer with FL. And that rap scene was super cute, even her normal colleagues got in on it.

Wonder what she's up to. Doesn't seem like she wants revenge on FL's father, the way she spoke to him and treated FL at the law firm. But I get the feeling it's still about some old score. Maybe she wants to use FL to one up her competitor, who's maybe FL's mother?

Is there a still of ep 7 preview where Mu-Deok is playing the bird flute and there's a cute green budgie sitting on her shoulder? Goddamn, it's sooo cute. I keep rewatching it on youtube.

There's gonna be a wandering pickpocket girl called So-yi from Sari village looking for Mu-Deok. She's gonna get involved in some big conspiracy plot.
And also healer grandpa Heo Yeom's granddaughter, who's also a healer.

Seems like this drama will have romance? ML better be knowing what he's doing then, this is no ordinary FL. Girl has very low chances of finding a romantic interest as it is, he better not hurt her by careless mistake.

Who's gonna train ML to become a proper mage master, let him take her up that tree and help get revenge? Village pauper? This show is about student ML and teacher FL, they won't switch horses halfway through the show.
But of course, nobody can deny you headcanoning whatever you want.

So, doesn't matter that you haven't even seen that person in action, you're already rooting for her instead of Naksu? She could be a total bitch, a clueless idiot, or a timid flower for all we know. While Naksu already is charming characters and the audience left and right with her personality and clever mind. I just don't get you guys, Naksu is the official FL. Yea, she inhabits other girl's body, but that body's soul is not FL. Even if that girl's soul wakes up and starts interfering with Naksu it will be Mr. Queen plot, with FL still being Naksu. Rooting for FL to get killed so that a stranger may take over the body is just dumb. And ML already seems to be falling for Naksu person, not for the body, not for the dormant Mu-Deok's soul who hasn't showed up yet in any meaningful fashion in front of him.
I'd rather root for Naksu staying in that body and becoming JBY with soul merge, memories or whatever shenanigans this show will come up with. Otherwise she's doomed, because she has no body of her own now. She has nowhere to return to, unlike in Mr. Queen. Personally, aside from injustice done to ML, I find this fact the next saddest thing.

Or never get not even a new season, but not even the planned side-story feature film. Like Kingdom. I'm still pissed that they left it at the cliffhanger. And the show was really successful to boot, yet it doesn't matter still.

Which is still not known whether it will be produced, just that the script is being written. And it's not known what it will be about - continuation of the plot, new plot, same characters, new characters...
Honestly with 20 episodes it is already quite big, but I never underestimate writers inability to concisely wrap up the story 🙄. I'd actually prefer this story to be self contained, I hate waiting years for new seasons. And in worst case scenarios showrunners get ahead of themselves, run into financial/scheduling problems and planned seasons don't get released and we are left with dangling cliffhangers.

I'm ok with combined souls, but it's still just a wishful thinking. For all we know it may end up badly, with Naksu ejected from Mu-Deok's body and dying bodiless. I really hope not, but still.

If you watched it, how do you find it ok for Uk to end up with some random girl he barely knows, while the person, with whom he shared all the troubles and really fell in love, leaves him forever? It really left a sour note in Mr. Queen ending, I hope it won't be copied here.

Go watch Mr. Queen (similar plot btw), or From Now On, Showtime! , or many others. There is only one fate for SMLs - they get friendzoned in the end.
And here there’s nothing substantial even going on yet, you’re really getting ahead of yourself. Let’s just watch more episodes to see who ends up with whom, if any.
