I see people try to come up with various versions of the same theory that real Mu-Deok is not actually a real person who got (willingly?) possessed by Naksu. Is it to justify Naksu staying in her body? That it's ok?

Personally, I'm rooting for Naksu very much to stay alive and preferrably in that body. I would like both girls to have a happy resolution, but let's be real here - blind girl Mu-Deok was a person of her own. She was living in that village, was about to get sold to a brothel in the capital and even had a pickpocket friend, which will be introduced soon.

Come to think of it, I haven't seen any female mages in Songrim or Cheonbugwan. Are they not allowed to train there?
Jin clan probably accepts female mages (if they join their clan?) and Sejukwon has female healers.
Is this a medieval fantasy thing going on here? I can see they're nonchalant about buying and selling people into servitude, and women seem to have traditional roles in society.

Try "From Now On, Showtime!" It has similar plot to the second lead couple with reincarnation and stuff.

You can still watch it if you want, it’s funny. Just be aware that it is a bit draggy and way less interesting than AoS. And the ending was disappointing, even though it was supposed to be happy. Ppl who watched it are rightfully fearful it will be copied in AoS.

No, actually the king got wind of the fact that Jang Kang learned how to do it. He didn’t order for him to learn it. For whatever reason Jang Kang started researching it on his own. I feel like he’s not the good guy we thought he was.

They play their relationship “dumb and loyal maid & eccentric master who really likes his maid” very well. Everybody buys it. And the only evil dude who figured it out is dead. As for Yul, he won’t tell anybody.

I think nobody wants that ending here. Especially considering Naksu has no body to return to.

Not really new, but ML has the most rights to the throne if alchemy of souls really does transfer dna in that fantasy world.

Maybe people are cautious to give it a better score when they don't know how this will end? Ending may suck because of the writers?

Both are very good, but completely different. It's cool to have so much good stuff to watch this season.

The queen has it. But real Mu-Deok may have a part of it inside her? She exhibits powers as if she has it too.

She can still be one. There's just no development about it in episode 8.

It can't be because the Ice Stone definitely is with the queen right now, she stole it from wherever they hid it - she makes stacks of new soul ejectors with it. And that's why Gil-Ju went to her - so that she can use it to cure him from being petrified.

But I'm thinking a part of it may be inside Mu-Deok's body, because of the powers she exhibits and because she too prevents Naksu from petrifying in that body.

She has a connection to it 100%. If the Ice Stone is with the main villain now, pehaps she has part of it inside her? I'm thinking if she's Jin clan's daughter, they've stored the Ice Stone in the vault until it was stolen and she may've been involved somehow and got Ice Stone powers by accident.

Yea, she is the big mystery for now. If she can block soul shifting from happening, she could have done the same when Naksu did it with her. But instead she appeared for the soul shift instead of random girl. Could have been willingly deliberately?
