I hate it when each and everyone blames gyehoon for losing her sister. I mean he's a child back then, also same…
Yea, his parents are trash. It was their responsibility to look after such small kids, you just can't leave them on their own without adult supervision at such a young age. In some countries it's even illegal.
In my country similar accident happened recently - parents left older kids (about the same age as ML when he was a kid) to look after a five year old sibling at the dangerous river beach. The older ones were playing ball and got distracted for a minute and five year old was gone. One of the search parties found her body down the river several days later. I mean, parents, come on!

Yea, I'm pretty sure how it's gonna end up as well.

The old guy probably.

PTSD is a real mental condition…andso is people locking upmemories they can't process. You can even research…
Amnesia, childhood traumas, met as as kids=destiny are at the top of k-drama cliches. Seen it so often overused as convenient plot devices that it long ago stopped being fresh. The only thing fresh in this drama is the Link, wonder how it’s gonna be explained.
On Link: Eat, Love, Kill Jul 4, 2022
Title Link: Eat, Love, Kill Spoiler
So basically, FL likely is responsible in some way for ML sister's disappearance, but she doesn't remember because she has a k-drama staple - selective amnesia caused by childhood trauma. The stalker is creepily white knighting FL so that she won't get accused and ditched by ML. Cliche break-up is set up, guys. Let's hope it won't be an even more boring slog than it is now. Nine episodes in and and not much about the mystery of the Link or sister's disappearance is revealed, just going round in circles.
Somehow I'm starting to think that the mystery of the past is gonna be some exagerrated dumbassery, on the level of mom and granny flipping and putting a body into the fridge.

Not the best one. Extraordinary Attorney woo and Alchemy of souls are much better.
Objectively more people like it as is shown on MDL by the ratings and number of watchers. Just statistics.

breakup is there, the stalker said that you shouldn't be together with the ML and there's a reason which obviously…
Yea, yea 🙄. Probably it was partly FL's fault that ML's sister got hurt and kidnapped, and it was so traumatic she got a cliche selective amnesia about that part. Grandma and mother probably in the know as well, judging by episode 9 especially.
The one thing I don't get is how they all blame ML who was just a kid back then, but nobody wants to take responisbility as adults. Not the neighbourhood, all covering up their asses. Not ML's parents, who really should be the ones to blame, such small kids shouldn't be wandering on their own in the first place, but always with adults supervision, especially in that back ass of a neighbourhood.

Also, I've theorized that ML's father may be a culprit before, but now it seems he even ditched his identity and is living under a new name. I don't believe it for a second he's dead.

No need to get so defensive. Could have just written in your original post that it's the best ongoing drama for you personally. But objectively Alchemy of Souls tops on MDL right now by all accounts.

It's good, but not the best. The best is Alchemy of Souls for sure.
There's a lot of mystery there as well, especially concerning ML, the body FL inhabits, what's the deal with the main villain, etc. Comments section for that drama is on fire right now, like a thousand a day, with tons of theories.

So we know that Jang Kang is one of the only mages back in the day who could do soul shift. We know that it seems…
I doubt it was ML's father. When he was in king's body he taught soul shift secret to the main villain, who was his assistant. It is probably him who was the culprit and he conveniently arrived later to pick up young Naksu. And he still uses it to this day. He also was the one who taught Naksu how to soul shift.

Me neither, long distance relative maybe? I'd assume he was officially appointed to represent that family at court.

Btw, this is new, a new character coming soon?:
"So-yi - A wandering pickpocket. She was helped by a Moo Deok in Sarichon. She comes to the capital of Daeho in search of Mu-deok and gets caught up in a huge conspiracy. She was selected by Jin Moo while scamming and is put in the center of a terrible scheme."

I don't disagree he's required for a love triangle angst, or whatever they have in store for him. I just wish it won't be as boring as it is now - the guy's currently just there to put a wedge to the leads relationship for melodrama's sake. I wish he had some plot of his own or something, or at least some funny quirks like Dang Gu.

Exactly. Nobody even knows what kind of girl was real Mu-Deok, so I don't get why some people confuse her with FL or want to get rid of Naksu. Yea, I pity the girl, but I pity Naksu even more and root for her.

I hope not. So far FL IS Naksu, it's her inside that shell of a body, with her awesome personality and clever mind. Do you want to get rid of this cool FL and swap it for some unknown girl halfway through the series?
Sure, the plot may copy Mr. Queen but it had a sour and dumb ending exactly because of that plot twist at the end.
