Really don't want to insult anybody, but a serious question - can an autist be an attorney? Are there any irl? Aren't there requirments for this job? I find this show's synopsis interesting, but I'm finding it hard to believe that a person with an alternate state of mind can be successfull at this type of job that requires ability to empathize, good communication skills with people and good social skills in general. So I'm kinda on the fence whether to invest time into this drama.
NO NOthe webtoon sells itself as a proper rom com and does romance and comedy perfectly. they actually fall in…
Yes, they were breaking up and making up for a whole year by having nonsensical spats about the smallest things and accusing each other of not being like how they were with superpowers. But at the end they made up again, not known for how long.

They added spats in the last fifteen minutes of the show, btw. Looked like it was to make fun of this whole silly plot about destiny and proclamations of eternal love.
the ending really spoiled it for me, all the fighting, bickering. should have ended 10 mins earlier when she was…
Stupid dreams about destiny and eternal love got crashed upon reality of their incompatible characters π Did writers at the end want to make fun of the whole premise of this dumb show?

In the drama ML and her mom were not telling her about her past, even when mom's stalker/dad's killer started operating again and almost killed mom's fiancee. They said it was to protect her, dumbasses. Even though mom knew killer's identity all along, if she told her daughter who it was FL wouldn't meet with him at the bar and get kidnapped and ML wouldn't get stabbed later.
And here it seems ML and FL got their superpowers because they kissed during a special celestial event: blood moon + northern lights. Or maybe it was "trauma" from diving into the lake at night, don't ask π. When they do it again in the present their powers disappear. And then FL suddenly remembers everything from her past. Jeez, I can't state this enough how I hate selective amnesias that characters in k-dramas get as easy as cold. I got a good laugh when ML in another drama (Crazy Love) went meta and made a real good fun of it when he pretended he had it too - he knew everyone watches and believes this crap π.
Anyway, looks like doing it by the book, literally, might have been better here. Starting from younger cast, definitely, as I would have forgiven some dumb shit main leads were doing if they were much younger.
Well, I'm glad this show is over, barely managed to finish the last two episodes. Can check it off my list. And btw, was plot this dumb and cringey in the webtoon as well?
Confessions usually happen around episode 11 in 16 episode dramas. Just some statistics...
Well, technically FL confessed to ML pretty early on already. But this didn't lead to them mutually confessing and starting dating. Hence I'm telling you we'll have to wait a few episodes yet for the proper romantic relationship start. And I've not seen it being rushed in recent 16 episode dramas, only in smaller episode count ones.
OMG, what is this drama ππππ€£π€£, I was literally laughing when both of them were fighting and policeman…
Earlier I was thinking maybe it's ML's father. His parents got divorced soon after, maybe they were already planning it and his father wanted to split up the kids. But I dunno, the stalker can point at FL for all we know, for extra angst between the leads, happens all the time in k-dramas. Like maybe girls got into some accident and FL was to blame. Still, I don't think she had anything to do with ML sister's disappearance/murder, her mother and grandma on the other hand... Or ML's sister was with other kids, male cop included, had and accident and male cop's father told him to write that letter so that he'd become a suspect instead of his kid and covered up the crime, so as to not ruin his life. Dumb and the kid won't get prosecuted anyway, but I've seen even dumber similar plots in k-dramas.
Not coming to the police actually will lead to much more severe problems and sentences irl, especially if you…
Yea, I'd get some self-defense weapons and maybe some martial arts training. FL really annoys me here by stubbornly continuing to walk around at night alone in that creepy neighbourhood. I'd be cautious even without the stalker, but she's just baiting all the neighbour creeps on purpose it seems.
Well, they've no other suspect and the crime was covered up 100% and frustratingly continues to. Can understand the frustration of that cop, who's living with guilt all this time.
EDIT: According to Wikipedia:
"In August 2021, production companies Studio Dragon and High Quality signed an agreement with Mungyeong City to build a filming site in Maseong-myeon worth β©5 billion for the production of Alchemy of Souls."
So it's just for the filming site. Total budget likely is waay more.
