This show has a rough start and ML in the beginning is over the top and not very likable. But it gets seriously better when he starts taking the job seriously. Nearing the end the writing becomes very competent and there are next to none of his stunts anymore. The guy becomes a real cop, but at times he still uses his wealth to help solve a case.

They were taking and implementing all the notes from the book of cliches for the past 4 episodes or so. This drama should have ended after episode 12, they're just dragging it on.

Why would he lose the money? The money belongs to the family and he's part of it. Unless his father cuts him out of it, which he wouldn't, nobody can do anything about his inheritance.

She definitely didn't do it herself, because she's too frail to overpower anybody. It was definitely a man and we've got no known characters left besides the butler. So I too think he did it, but it was on her command.

What a joke of a family poor ML has. Everybody cheated on everybody, everybody lies, child mistreatment, incompetent father, cliche evil bish of a step-mother, giant skeletons in the closet. Yea, I'd resign in father's place too. In fact, I wouldn't even dare running for mayor until all of that dirt was cleaned thoroughly, I don't understand how he thought none of that would come to light.
FL's family is a stark contrast to that and maybe that's the point.

I think the brother is innocent. He just wants to protect the family, no matter how broken it really is.
His mother definitely is involved in all the murders, her husband's included. But she also has an accomplice who actually did these deeds. I don't want it to be the cliche "The butler did it!", but it starts leaning in that direction, considering the accomplice definitely was someone around both back then and now. Maybe taking care of ML was his way of atoning for murdering his mother.

When the dust settles, if his brother survives, I think ML will hide the fact that his brother was not the biological son and will give the company to him. And then he will return being a cop, cuz that's his real calling.

Yea, ML's brother is not actually his biological brother. ML's bish of a stepmom cheated on his dad with that murdered guy. She's behind all the murders involving ML's family it seems.

His brother is not his real brother though, as it turned out. ML is the only real son of his dad. Dad's wife cheated on him with that murdered guy who was ML brother's biological father.

Would be funny if the first son is not dad's actual son, making ML his only real son. That'd be a twist.

And they get especially nasty when there's an election season. All the dirt that can be dug up, will be. Not sure what ML's father was hoping for by not covering ML's heritage properly.

I wonder how his dad dressed his sudden appearance in his family. I thought the world knew he was an illegitimate son, but apparently dad was too much of a coward. Probably bribed someone to rewrite his id documents to pose as his and his wife's second son. But it wasn't good enough since the reporters got onto ML through his mother.

I dunno about that, but the majority of MDL users sure do have a certain preference for dramas and some would very aggressively defend what they like.
Anyway, I dunno why mods even bothered putting Shogun here if it doesn't qualify to have a page according to some, but on IMDB it's 9.2, which is an achievement in itself. IMDB usually has way harsher and bad quality intolerant user base. So who cares if it's not up to MDL's taste or principles?

Best recent example - My Demon. Nothing but a brainless eye-candy, but people be raving about it. And you better not write any critique about it on that page, unless you want a dose of unhealthy delulu rants.

I would like season 2 if only for the romance development, so far there's little to none and I somehow doubt they'll start anything this late in the series. And I wouldn't want some last minute afterthought like it was in Ahn Bo Hyun's past drama Doberman. The source TV series Flexxcop is based on had several seasons, so maybe they'll make more, but it's gonna depend success of course.

I dropped it on episode 1, too many red flags.

That's a fcked up way to treat an innocent kid, if that's true. It makes grandpa look like total trash of a human being.
