I feel like ML's main problem was resolved too soon. Are they gonna solve FL's problems now for the other half of the drama? Will there be enough content? It's already having lots of filler with annoying, useless brother and nosy family that serve no purpose for the plot. I mean, we already know her sunbaes used her as a ghost writer mule for their dissertations. Everybody was riding on her shoulders for free, we get it. But for 8 whole episodes? Probably gonna reserve a few for the typical dumb break-up to fill the time...
The leads have become more tolerable to watch, with FL's unreasonable hate being largely gone now that she get to know ML better and ML showing his real character more under his insufferable chaebol persona. And the team even invited ML to their dinner. They're still bickering, but are finally working together.
Some investigative stuff in the drama is laughably bad, but I guess it's not a serious procedural to start nitpicking.
I know that the original drama this kdrama is based on had romance and the tag is here as well, but I'm not seeing it so far, the leads are still far away to even become friends, let alone something more. SML detective is going after the medical examiner girl, just like in Castle lol, so there's no third wheeling so far at least. But we saw a teaser of ML's ex at the end of the last episode, seems like your typical crazy one.
Su Min dying is not good enough. In the manga she got a more satisfying ending.
She got a life sentence and was sent to rot in jail for killing Min Hwan's mother and trying to run over FL and ML with a car. FL visited her once for some last sweet revenge - to say farewell and that she now erases Su Min from her life forever.
Can anyone tell me what happends in the actual webtoon . I feel they spoiled the drama bringing the yu ra charecter
She wasn't in the webtoon. But she was in the web novel that preceded it, though not in such capacity as here. I think they've cut her character from the webtoon on purpose because she was an unnecessary character who only made the plot unfocused. Webtoon was great, concise and on point until the last page. This drama is all over the place though.
They've turned the plot into some stupid makjang gag. It stopped following the original plot at all and it's everything goes now. People are trying to kill the leads, yet they go to work like nothing threatens their lives. Somehow only the psycho ex has the chaebol influence and money to hire thugs, sleuths and bribe people, it seems. ML only reacts to things and even then too late. FL at least tried to prevent her senior colleague's fate, if unsuccessfully so far. Min Hwan completely lost it and became a total idiot. There are CCTV at work all over the place, did he think he could get away with it even if ML didn't came? He's on the way out. Also, they've lost Su Min somewhere on the side of the road, it seems. Writers, hello? Wasn't she supposed to be the main villain? Also, where is the sub-plot about her "caring" for Min Hwan's sick mother? The psycho ex has escalated things to such absurdity that this sub-plot is too "toned down" now to make an appearance, I think.
And worst of all, the leads romance is just so dull and not believable. FL is too stiff, ML for most of the time has only one facial expression. Disappointing.
Anyway, after episode 11 it's been a trainwreck and I've lost interest. They shouldn't have added so many dumb and unnecessary things to the plot. I would have dropped it if it weren't only two episodes left.
Episode 13 is filled with so many despicable people doing and saying such despicable things it made me want to fast forward a lot. They're all soo going to jail. And that psycho ex is taking the spotlight from the main evil bish, they are overlapping each other. What a bad narrative choice.
What's the point of FL's brother character here? His shameless freeloading and annoying gossiping is what's really depressing to watch here. His attitude of always glazing over the words being told to him and changing subjects to redirect the attention from himself, and acting like he's not the total loser of the family is really annoying as well. You know nothing, mofo, get a job already and get out of the nest!
It's just writters wanting specific stuff to happen but they can't ground it to reality because whole premise…
Yea, besides that anesthesiologist bs, those intense blood fountains from internal bleeding as if an artery was cut were also bs. As well as always using a defibrillator for stopped heart, which is very old, very big bs used only on screen (it can actually be used only in case of cardiac arrythmia, not when a patient has flatlined already).
This episode was amazing but it makes no sense why jeong woo thinks he doesn’t deserve to be happy and he takes…
I don't get it either. I get that he has PTSD now and fell on hard times. But he was clearly framed, he knows it, so he deserves to be happy. What sort bs is this? It's just like that ridiculous situation with anesthesiologist walking scott free without even being questioned. A silly plot device to get down to the same bottom where FL dwells. Next they will state that it gave him depression as well.
I don’t get what part of the story has a ridiculous plot ngl. The niece going through all that because of her…
He didn't make sure to kill the psycho for good. Then he sat doing nothing thinking it would blow over, instead of making preventative measures to safeguard his family in case his ex-employers would come to visit. And at the very least he had the means to change FL's identity and send her somewhere far away to be safe and to be raised in normal conditions. But no, he groomed her into taking his place. Does any girl wants be raised like this? To endure all that crap after he died? I don't think so.
Also, there's no guarantee that there will be a season 2. It's just bait with dangling loose ends for now.
