Personally, I think she's utterly unnecessary here, because we already have a jealous evil bish here and she's the main dish. ML is the highlight of this drama. He's overacting a lot when he turns on his competitive\jealous mode, but it's very fun to watch. And also I like that he knows just the right words to say to FL to make her feel better. Her family don't understand her and there are a lot of insensitive, cruel people surrounding her. Personally, I think she needs to change the setting completely and go live somewhere else at least for a while, and away from her overbearing mother.
