ML and FL judged them as murderers because of the past(she was sick/insurance money...) but given another situation…
They just can't help themselves being evil, it's how they are. FL was so hesitant at first to go all in, but she finally admitted it herself that they just won't change. And it's not her fault if that's gonna be their reaction to her revealing them as trash that they are to the world. And you haven't seen anything yet, the levels of unhinged are gonna rise exponentially soon.
She will. But it will be diagnosed at an early stage and she'll get a successful treatment.
I dunno, they've completely changed his character in the drama, making him your typical disapproving parent figure. But I guess things are looking up for FL here, he seemed to be impressed of her now.
Wondering if there's anyone who still thinks the leads don't have chemistry or that Na In Woo was the wrong choice…
I think the romance here is very meh because of the brooding, indecisive and boring ML. And chemistry is lacking, maybe because of the rather wooden acting. But as characters they'll be good together, I guess. Tbh, I wasn't feeling it in the manga either, the main attraction there and in this drama is FL's revenge on the evil bish.
I prefer when there's more action and funny interactions between couples. In ongoing Doctor Slump, for example, even with all the bad things happening, you can clearly see the leads can't help themselves but to transform in front of each other.
I hate gossipers, especially the ones who keep on gossiping as if you can't hear them. But to be fair here, the evil duo created such a drama spectacle at work it's hard not to.
Can you spoil what happens between them in the manga?
Joo Ran will get a divorce, because her husband cheated on her with another woman. She will also ask her parents to watch over her daughter, she didn't before because she was ashamed to show them how bad things were in her marriage. They then get together with that guy from work. Also, she's the one who gets FL's cancer, but it will be diagnosed at an early stage so she'll have it successfully treated.
It may be part of her character, but FL and the evil bish have common history related to their parents, which…
More like FL didn't have a chance to witness the true lengths of her depravity in the past. And they haven't even shown us the worst she's capable yet, just you watch, we're in for a ride with these two vile characters, her and Min Hwan.
Only character that didn't click with me is jihyuk. Fl, 2ml, 2fl all these characters are well written with layers…
I think his main problem, as well as that useless 2ml's is indecisiveness. They keep on pining for FL from the sidelines. Min Hwan may be a giant douche bag, but you gotta give it him - he's assertive and aggressive in pursuing women. And while I don't care about 2ml (he had even less of a presence in the manga), I'm disappointed in ML's representation here - in the manga he really did use that 2nd chance to get together with FL, not just in words like we see here. I think it stems from completely redoing the events that brought him back to the past in the drama - it made him a melancholic, brooding character constantly thinking about his own impending death. Now he's even written a will for his cat in case of his death🤦♂️
I didn't love the initial direction that this ep took with Soo Min character, yes she is manipulative, she is…
It may be part of her character, but FL and the evil bish have common history related to their parents, which actually was the catalyst for her turning in this crazy psycho hell bent on making FL's life miserable. I hope it will get revealed later on.
You're right about not fcknin up the kids. It was the evil bish's mother who turned her into this psycho. The…
The evil bish's father ran away with FL's mother. And that mother didn't want to live with Soo Min, so she was sent back to her bish of a mother. And then her mother started blaming everything on her, including Soo Min's father leaving. Then Soo Min became friends with FL and got jealous of her happy life with her father. After that she'd learnt that it was FL's mother who ran away with her father. And since Soo Min's mother had beaten into her head that she's to blame for her father leaving she applied that crazy logic to FL - FL was to blame for her mother running away with her father. So she made it her life mission to make FL's life miserable hell.
My conclusion of this whole matter is DON'T HAVE CHILDREN IF YOU'LL TREAT THEM LIKE TRASH cause this is what they…
You're right about not fcknin up the kids. It was the evil bish's mother who turned her into this psycho. The father probably couldn't endure her anymore and ran away. But the woman he ran away with wasn't any better. Also, same goes for Mih Hwan - he's a monster raised by a monster of a mother.
Irl nobody in their right mind would marry a guy with such a foul mouthed shrew of a mother. FL was such a dumbass in the past, but good for her now. In the manga that family lunch disaster was awesome as well 😂
Btw, it seems they haven't forgotten about those bitchy ex-schoolmates from the reunion, but they're sure taking their time to apologize. In the manga they've apologized right after the reunion. They should at the very least appear on evil bish's wedding.
The under-water scene creeped the freak outta me !
The evil bish here was just like that crazy SFL in If You Wish Upon Me drama. Now she's gonna get suicidal on purpose to gauge a reaction from FL. Fkn disgusting🤮
Looks like FL wasted her youth on studying for nothing. Looks like in SK to be successful it's either top school or bust. Was it the point where she started losing that drive and clear vision of her life goal? I know it's just an anecdotal personal experience, but I know some people like that, all they knew was how to study but not how to deal with reality, especially when it doesn't go your way. In the end many of their more sociable and enterprising classmates with worse scores ended up having way better paying jobs, even though they'd graduated from less prestigious institutions of higher education, some didn't even bother getting a tertiary education. Getting top scores will only get you so far in life.
But that's not taking away from SK's crazy high competition on job market and employers' hiring criteria being ridiculously high and more often than not unnecessary for the actual job required. Hence we get to watch these crazy dramas where constantly stressed out kids are studying 17 hours 24/7, ignoring many of the important aspects of that development period. But in the end not everyone's as smart as their parents want them to be, not everyone can qualify for whatever dream job they or their parents dream of (it's still a fkn manager, mostly 😂). So no wonder they've such high suicide rate among their youth. At this point their government, instead of being in denial, should start a nation wide free mental health tests and free depression medication programs. They're rapidly turning into an old geezers country, just like Japan, they gotta take care of their youth better, it's the future of their country after all.
And you haven't seen anything yet, the levels of unhinged are gonna rise exponentially soon.
