I'm beginning to think they've jumped the gun with ML's secret being revealed so soon to the audience. It's more interesting to be guessing with FL about his mysterious behavior. On the other hand, they couldn't help themselves and somehow made a stalker out of ML here, so maybe it wasn't such a bad thing to do pronto. But FL is still in the dark, while we already know, I dunno, kinda looks like a spoiled surprise, tbh.
She's starting judo so I have high expectation, I can't wait to see her beat asses
He was, but in the manga ML was always there for her. I'm just not sure how they gonna squeeze judo into the plot and whether it will make the plot better.
I don't know about webtoon, but this is pretty disappointing that she gets her life back and she is still letting…
Yea, she's still so scared of everything. I get that it's more realistic considering her character, but I think enough time has passed to get her bearings. It's about time to start plotting and getting revenge. In the manga she was like a grey cardinal behind the scenes - moving pieces perfectly to get results. I wanna see that.
They've really started to diverge from the manga's source material in today's episode. Most of the things didn't happen in the manga. Some few were mentioned in passing, or were played out differently.
And ffs, when will they stop promoting alcoholics or being drunk as something cute? I'm getting tired of seeing FLs getting totally wasted just for some questionable giggles.
Finished watching it earlier after marathoning the last 7 eps. The ending was really interesting and my attention…
Why would he be the baby of Myeong-ja? Did ML sleep with her? No. Was she impregnated by him forcibly in the hospital? No and she was already pregnant when she got there. It was Maeda husband's baby, that's why she had arranged for Myeong-ja to be sent to that hospital in the first place. She wanted to get rid of his illegitimate child. The baby also had freaky green eyes. Probably gonna be raised as a monster. Also, this drama truly looks like a sequel to Kingdom. Same story about some worms from the cold mountains possessing people and turning them into zombie like monsters. Even that scene with the baby was the same as with the young prince in Kingdom where a worm crawled under his skin in the end. And worms seem to be the ones controlling humans. Myeong-ja's monstrous behavior and then how the Creature became lifeless and drowned after giving her worm to FL - it all alludes to that. Not sure what's gonna happen to FL though, will she become a mindless beast killing people just like Myeong-ja?
I didn't like that nothing was resolved in season 1 - that "Mengele" doctor and the monster baby are alive, Maeda also alive. And they also still have that research and samples.
And then they gave us some wtf cliffhangers to mull over. ML somehow still being alive after 50+ years. Likely some bs about the worms giving immortality, since the stills show FL being alive as well. Not sure where ML got his worm though, but he didn't have a scar neither. Probably gonna show us in season 2.
Do you happen to be slow? Who would come here to seek sweet revenge? This drama made no promises of vengeance.…
I guess I wanted it to be another drama, first few episodes were promising at least. I wanted FL to get up on her feet and get revenge on the bish that did her wrong. Instead I got soap.
Ugh, they lost me there with dragging that selfish dad bs, which basically is the catalyst of this whole plot. Too late to drop now though. I'm disappointed in all this soap. For people who wanted to see more about sweet revenge I recommend ongoing Marry My Husband.
guys is this really a thriller? i want to watch badly but the thriller tag is putting me off
More like unreliable narration. The plot gets narrated from different points of view. One person sees a situation in different light than the other. Once you get to see all of them you can see a full picture. Personally, I too was expecting some thriller or crime drama. But it's about something different. I guess it's time for such plots in East Asia as well.
I sincerely hope this is the catalyst for greater change. We had a similar (but less tragic) watershed moment…
Yea, I think it should be banned by law to disclose a suspect's real name in the media until there's actual proof. I'm disgusted every time I see news of somebody getting their life ruined by unsubstantiated allegations. Even when there are news later that the allegations were false said person is still ostracized for life, very low chances of coming back.
Hear hear. I hope this will change something in this morbid game of public lynching. SK's media are disgusting trash for creating a live media circus out of an ongoing investigation. Report things that are already proven, ffs! And the public is also to blame, when will there be an accountability for all the trash people write in social media? Also, were there any actual drugs involved at all? I've read he simply used prescription drugs that had something illegal in them? Happens in sports all the time - athletes unknowingly using some drugs for their health, which later get revealed to be having some banned substances in them.
It was a happy ending with a wedding, tons of kids and lots of sickly sweet extras. The evil bish got imprisoned…
In the manga they didn't develop ML's character well. And in the manga he killed himself after witnessing FL's death. Which made him look mentally unstable because their relationship was non-existent in their past life - he was just a silent admirer of hers since high school because she was nice to a cat, but he never attempted any moves to win her over from Min Hwan. It was alluded it was due to his awkwardness with women, but it's very hard to believe considering how for the rest of the manga he was a good looking, rich, suave and confident man. He also rode in the same taxi with FL's dad just prior his death. And he made a sincere wish to come back to the past to be with FL even if it costs him his life. And looked like the taxi driver fulfilled that wish. But in the drama he just died in a car crash, no taxis. But he somehow got that heart tattoo and gave FL money with a heart doodle.
They've done ML's return to the past completely differently. No wishing to return to the past in exchange for…
Yea, I think there needs to be a scene with ML's father/taxi driver for ML as well in the drama. It was quite impactful in the manga, though that suicide right after that really came out of the blue. I'm glad they've changed that in the drama. I also hope they'll develop ML's character better in the drama.

So what do you think of this? They changed the scene and ML got killed in a car crash and wasn't driven by that taxi driver. They haven't shown everything and will add extra "purgatory" scenes with him later or something? Or will it be left unexplained?
