Having not watched this yet (so I’m not marking this as a spoiler as I do not actually know anything), you just…
//Spoiler, please don't read this if you haven't watch the movie or read the novel//
Egoist is considered more of a grief story rather than bl because there is so much death of loved ones and pain in the story rather than the actual love story instead.

Ryuta's cause of death is sudden and unexpected (the novel never went into detail of how he died but he just never woke up one day maybe from overfatigue on his job in a construction site). But his death is a vital turning point for Kosuke and Ryuta's mother to share both pain and grief and how they will bring it with them as they went along with their lives.
Watched it because of young Tomoya and that cute couple from Love letter, never knew I'd fall in love with the whole story. There's something so beautiful and nostlagic with whole Japanese rural 90's vibe. It kinda reminds me of Whisper of the heart.
Ok, I am really curious about something, and I hope people who know Japanese culture can answer. How common is…
Its a common situation tho especially in high school, where the girl is the one who shows interest to the boy or can be vice versa too. Valentines day here in japan, the girls are the one who gives chocolates to the guys in their class, and female office workers are kinda mandated on some workplace to give chocolates to their male collegues. But we have White day too were, guys who receive v-treats must return the favor to the girls.
Promoting illegal sites who profit from stealing fansubber's FREE hard work and labor for you international fans to enjoy Jdramas is so disappointing. This discourages me and other fansubbers from doing fansubs again if this just keeps going on.
I like it but there are too many sex scenes 🥲 I don't know if this is a useful approach to solve this mystery…
I totally get you but I think its important tho. Mizorogi is an erotic writer, he mostly creates pieces from his own imagination and not his own experience. So when he saw Aki Fujino for the first time, she was exactly like a character from his novel; a beautiful, mysterious and sensual person. She and Sakura made sensei experience those things that he wrote in his own novel. So yeah I think the erotic scenes are essential to the story, before it was a mystery drama it was an unrequited love story first.
where did u get the raw from? drama-otaku doesnt allow new registrations
They open registration from time to time, so keep posted on their twitter acct😁 and I think its best to ask permission to the owner if you like to share raws outside from drama-otaku
As per last comment the video was abruptly cut so that's why we don't know the reason why he choose that mask to scare his manager. For me, it wasn't really a big issue but what is surprisingly offending tho was how most of his japanese fans commented on that youtube clip.
And telling people they're being snowflakes because they get easily offended by racism issues is kinda ignorant.
