Agree with you!! And I think the manga has a better version of that phrase, "Nozue san, forget about being one portion and please become my whole life." That phrase enough is way better than any kissing scene.

First off, I generally really enjoyed this show. It was well written, acted and had great pacing considering there…
Sorry when did the show portrayed women as being shallow, naive or silly, did I miss that part? The department head of their company is a woman with strong and friendly personality.
I guess you miss out the whole point, Nozue san is not just directly talking about girls he's talking about young people overall. Japanese are known for their karoshi culture or death by overwork. Nozue san who only live his life for his work, felt like he miss out on something that's why he was admiring the young for being happy and carefree something that he took for granted when he was that age. I guess it all comes down to culture difference I guess, you can't fully explain a situation without one person truly experiencing it.
This is possibly the most boring and pointless BL I've seen - zero originality, and we followed a tedious story,…
Ahh yes thank you for your opinion, this is very much valid. I suggest you try watching Fight Club, I heard it's a BL movie with a very unexpected plot twist that might cater to your high intellectual knowledge.
Kaneda's character really grated on me this episode.Honestly, what is it that Yanase is supposed to be so attracted…
As I remember from the manga tho, Kaneda isn't romantically obsessed with him, he just worship Yanase's talent. Growing up in a rural area and witnessing something big and different like CGI was inspiring for Kaneda so he was really determined to be the best in it with the help of Yanase.
Honestly not really a fan of the manga too, it kinda throws me off with too much smut, but it's a really cute and feel good bl LA from japan so I'm just happy to expect new eps every week. Sometimes you don't really have to over analyze things and just enjoy the show for what it's worth.
Not sure it could not Surpress exactly, because Cherry magic is fantastic, the thing is that here in OFC they took…
Yea I agree, in terms of genre they are different but in theme they are basically the same. It’s an office romance with both office workers crushing on their co-workers, both mangaka just use different approaches to spice up the story, with Adachi being an esp and Nozue having a mid-life crisis. But I think OFC has a slight nudge from CM in terms of writing and story-telling (I’m referring to the manga lol), CM is def entertaining and swoon-worthy but OFC is thought-provoking and slow burn but gives you such a satisfying after-taste and plus the dialogues is much more mature than in CM. Nonetheless tho, both are beautiful and excellent series, and Japan def set the standard on creating amazing BL series!

The only difference between them are the number of episodes. The chemistry and acting of the actors in both series are amazing, I can really see the character in them but storywise OFC def got more points on this one, the story felt more realistic and grounded. Plus I feel much more flushed watching Nozue and Togawa flirt lol
Would recommend Same Difference too!! Absolute gold comedy omg
