I re-watched it several time up to now. xD Somehow this drama captivated me so much. I even made a discord server for fans of the drama to share fanworks, news and talk about Be Reborn. It's a bit silent these days, but new members are always welcome.

Lately I watched Day and Night with Pan Yue Ming and noticed that Day and Night 2 was released recently, about 7 years after part two. I really hope that this doesn't happen to Be Reborn too. Hopefully they don't make us wait 7 years for the sequel.

Let's hope it won't be swallowed with Censorship. I'm looking forward to watch the movie soon. ^^ Yeah you're right about the older characters being a better match here. I also thought that already, that probably since time has passed older actors are more suitable. By the way are the books available in english too? I'd love to read them.

I think Tomb of the Sea was actually the very first Drama of the Series I watched. But it is some years ago and I have to rewatch. I liked the matured Wu Xie in there. And thanks for giving me some insight on the whole series :)

Unfortunately, no. :( I'm still writing my fanfictions, but I wish there were more english fanfictions around that focus on the criminal story aspect and that we'd finally get news about Be Reborn 2. Hopefully we'll get news soon.

I recommend, reading fanfictions in the meantime. I'm writing some in german and english. There are also some chinese fanfictions out there on AO3 - however my mandarin is not good enough yet, so I need translation programs, when I want to read them. But some day maybe. I can identify some of the chinese characters already, such as 你. ^^ IYou may also check out my discord group. Oh I really hope they cast the guys from Ultimate Note for this. I'd love to see a side story with both of them. :) But from what I noticed on Pinterest there have been different actors for Shades obviously (in Dramas which I have not watched yet though) and they seem pretty good as well. Since I'm just watching Ultimate Note and love Liu Yu Ning I'd love to see him here as well. However, depending on the time this is set an older actor might be more suitable. Either way, looking forward to this. ^^

Su-Oh, from how I interprete it never really realized that Daeun was dead. There was this scene in the earlier episode when he reads Snow White. Also his reaction later, when he asks for Daeun being saved - I think due to his illness he somehow thought that she is still sleeping and as long as Jeong U comes back and kisses her, she can wake up from her slumber. I'm not through the final episode yet, but at the point where Gu Tak just burned the corpse. From the psychological point of view Su Oh due to his desease is not calpable - since he was not aware of what he was doing. Untill the last moment I think, Su Oh thought there is still a possibility to save the girl and that she can wake up again. That's why he hid her, I think.

Same here. I wonder where some people have seen it already. For me it's not out yet. Still waiting.

Wow, that's a lot's of series to watch. Just finished Adventure behind the Bronze Door and it was the first from this series of Dramas I completed. Thank you very much for this list :)

No, that's not too harsh - it's what they deserve.

Personally I would not call it memory loss in this case. He can't remember, because he simply didn't commit the murder. So his memories of that night are actually intact. But the way the police treated him, made him doubt his own memories and he began to believe that he must have had amnesia. They did some really evil mind game stuff to him, fabricated evidences and blamed him for the murder. Since that night he was drunk it was easy to say - probably you were so drunk that you can't remember. But a person who did not commit a crime, can't remember as well.

It's a crime/thriller drama. There is no cheating, because there is no romance. Depending on how you define bullying there is violence against the ML because everyone blames him for a murder he never commited. The whole village is treating him very badly (I would consider this bullying) and even some people try to kill him. There is no actuall rape scene, but there are hints that one of the girls who died 11 years ago was not only murdered but also raped.

The german book is actually part of a series about two police officers, a female and a male one who solve cases together. Usually police violence as I've seen in korean dramas is not shown to such an extent in any german crime dramas I've ever watched. I have the impression that german crime/detective dramas are usually about good police catching bad criminals and don't thematisize police violence at all. But that's just my impression so far. In korean dramas instead I've seen it a lot. Not sure why that is though.

I don't have evidences, but I get this strange feeling when watching the laywer, that he might be the one who set up the roulette and is behind it. The whole roulette thing is also in favour for him. Thanks to the roulette he has a case now and if he fails at least the public won't bother about it at all. I also think he agreed to help that female Mayor because he wanted to get near Kim Gukho anyways. Best place to be for the mastermind is among the cops and near the person he wants dead. Nobody will ever suspect the laywer though.
