Just binge watched the first 7 Episodes ^^ Looking forward to Subs for 8 and 9 though. The drama is quite good.…
Back then when Wang Shitu's son was kidnapped, it has actually been an accidental kidnapping. There was this one scene when we see Jin Manfu talking to a young Bian Jie. He tells his son about this tree and the secret. To me it appeared as if he wanted his son to be at that place during a specific time. So Jin Manfu intended his son being kidnapped. But since young Bian Jie exchanged clothes with Wang Shitu's son the wrong boy was kidnapped around.
Qi lost his memories from what happened before he turned 5. So, he basically doesn't know who his parents are, nor where he truly came from. He was told that he was found on the streets, but that does not have to be true though. Later when Wang Shitu invites Qi to his home - Qi happens to eat his noodles in the same way Wang Shitu's son did. Also I think Qi stood a little bit long infront of the fotograph of Wang Shitu's (dead?) wife. It seemed to me as if he was recognizing her from somewhere but was not able to grasp, where he had seen her already.
From the first moment on I thought that Qi's reactions towards the family gave away already, that he is not Bian Jie. The way he didn't respond first when they called him Bian Jie, how he more or less allowed them to do everything with him - he seemed lost, traumatized and went along the flow, because deep inside he hoped to find a family. So he ended up to pretend to be Bian Jie, while he is not.
Due to what I noticed above, my theory is that Qi is actually Wang Shitu's son who lost his memories back then when he was kidnapped, due to trauma.
Also, in the preview of episode 9, someone shouts after Qi and asks "whether he thinks his police dad can rescue him?". Does this mean episode 9 might reveal my theory could be true? Is Qi really Wang Shitu's son? Or doe these criminaly mean it in a symbolic way, because Qi has formed a friendship to Wang Shitu?
Just binge watched the first 7 Episodes ^^ Looking forward to Subs for 8 and 9 though. The drama is quite good. I really like it. Some theory of mine below in the spoiler tags
Me ^^ the very first scene in episode one - I think that young woman is Da Mi
Yes the one with the blanket who watches the movie. The scene is so dark that I was barely able to see the person infront of the TV. How did you recognize that it is Geum Rahee?
Can a talented author write a Dohyuk/Dami fanfiction because there’s only 3 on AO3 about the show one is about…
That might indeed be interesting. But to write Fanfiction I need to be in the corresponding mood. As for now I'm stil involved with my Be Reborn Fanfiction and my own projects. But in case that the Drama inspires me, I will tell you. For now I just enjoy the Drama.
Me too ^^ Waiting and hoping it will be aired this year. Untill then I continue one of my fanfictions. This way, waiting is easier for me. I wish there would be more english fanfictions, since I'd love to read some as well. I've even used deepl and google translator to translate the chinese fanfictions, but most of them, unfortunately contain too much nudity and sexual content and I dislike that and would like to read stories which focus on crime and investigation, even though I myself also focus on trauma related content as well, but it's a crime thriller, thus it should be a crime/thriller fanfiction as well. At least in my opinion.
Agreed. And we should also remember that Phee comes from a family with police background from what I remember.…
I don't know how, but I think this might be his mindset. Personally I also think that it wouldn't have worked out. Thus I think @allancarreon is right that Phee deluded himself.
Today I have beef with New because I think this one is way past gone. Drug or no DrugIn today's ep New was on…
Agreed. And we should also remember that Phee comes from a family with police background from what I remember. Thus he practically grew up with a mindset that contradicts doing something criminal to get justice. I suspect that Phee wanted to find out the truth in order to tell the police, so that justice can be brought upon everyone, not revenge, but justice by the police.
As for White, I still can't believe that he is just someone who accidently got involved due to his relationship with Tee. Somehow I have a gut feeling that there is more about him, that he approached Tee for a reason from the beginning on. He's still a mystery and I'm excited to see the last episode. Hopefully some remaining questions concerning White will be answered. But maybe the reason they included White is really just to show, that revenge will always hurt the innocent as well. In this case it could be that there is really no secret agenda behind him.
I think deep down Xuan Xiao is well aware that he was used by the former sect leader and I think that he hates…
I really hope so. I hope he can be redeemed. He would deserve some love after his tragic childhood and being used by the former grandmaster. I wish Tianhe can safe him from the darkness in his mind.
I somehow feel like, if destroying the swords is the end then there is no use of Lingsha being the host😑and…
I think deep down Xuan Xiao is well aware that he was used by the former sect leader and I think that he hates the sect and actually plans to destroy everything. On the other hand I also have the impression the way he taks to Tianhe, he maybe hopes that Tianhe will stop him and show him that things can change for the better. Tianhe is somehow his hope, even though he himself passed a point of no return and can only go on and is unable to accept Tianhes advices. Maybe he even wishes to be destroyed in the end. He is deeply hurt inside due to his tragic past and actually a very conflicted person. I wish he could be saved from the hatered and darkness which slowly consumes him.
Also Xuan ying is death….I am going to cry so bad I love his character
It's so sad that he will die. :( Somehow I always felt that Xuan Ying is the real Xuan Xiao, before Xuan Xiao lost his sanity. Him dying feels as if the true Xuan Xiao is dying and can't be saved anymore.
I'm sad about this as well. 😭 But I saw a picture about him and the others, all wearing red clothes. This scenario…
Oh yes, somehow he became my fav chara as well. I don't know when it happened but I think it was the way he treated the grandma. That's when I started to grow fond of him. How he tried to protect her, by not telling her that one of her grandsons is missing and the other in coma. He wanted her to be happy and not having to worry so much. I hope he wakes up again soon.
Now Qiang Ge is in a coma he is one of my favorite characters now who is is going to make us laugh in the next…
I'm sad about this as well. 😭 But I saw a picture about him and the others, all wearing red clothes. This scenario has not happened yet, thus I suspect he will wake up again.
i don't pay much attention to the rating anymore. I mean how can we compete with trolls creating new accounts…
I never pay attention to the rating. Me, myself I only rate after I watched the complete drama and in addition I choose the dramas I watch not by reading comments, but by reading the synopsis. :) If the plot sounds interesting, I give it a try and usually I happen to like it.
