I really hope so. I hope he can be redeemed. He would deserve some love after his tragic childhood and being used by the former grandmaster. I wish Tianhe can safe him from the darkness in his mind.

I think deep down Xuan Xiao is well aware that he was used by the former sect leader and I think that he hates the sect and actually plans to destroy everything. On the other hand I also have the impression the way he taks to Tianhe, he maybe hopes that Tianhe will stop him and show him that things can change for the better. Tianhe is somehow his hope, even though he himself passed a point of no return and can only go on and is unable to accept Tianhes advices. Maybe he even wishes to be destroyed in the end. He is deeply hurt inside due to his tragic past and actually a very conflicted person. I wish he could be saved from the hatered and darkness which slowly consumes him.

It's so sad that he will die. :( Somehow I always felt that Xuan Ying is the real Xuan Xiao, before Xuan Xiao lost his sanity. Him dying feels as if the true Xuan Xiao is dying and can't be saved anymore.

Oh yes, somehow he became my fav chara as well. I don't know when it happened but I think it was the way he treated the grandma. That's when I started to grow fond of him. How he tried to protect her, by not telling her that one of her grandsons is missing and the other in coma. He wanted her to be happy and not having to worry so much. I hope he wakes up again soon.

I'm sad about this as well. 😭 But I saw a picture about him and the others, all wearing red clothes. This scenario has not happened yet, thus I suspect he will wake up again.

I never pay attention to the rating. Me, myself I only rate after I watched the complete drama and in addition I choose the dramas I watch not by reading comments, but by reading the synopsis. :) If the plot sounds interesting, I give it a try and usually I happen to like it.

Indeed. It was so good that I still rewatch parts of it from time to time. I also created a small discord group and wrote english fanfictions. Hopefully we won't have to wait that long for Season 2. And I'm a little bit afraid - since my expectations are so high, it will be difficult to surpass them in Season 2. Currently I try to reduce my expactations so that I can be impressed again. :)

I felt the same ❤ and still do. It even made me write fanfictions in english again. ^^ Let's hope that Season 2 will be as good as Season 1. Hopefully it will really come out during 2024. Would be so great.

Yeah, there is a phenomen of liking a drama and still criticizing it. I enjoyed it despite its obvious flaws though.

Oh, sorry for the confusion. :) Yeah, I decided to go back to the nickname I use till 20 years. I felt like I should have kept using it online though. When I registered here, I didn't know that the username can be different from the e-mail name also. When I realized I changed it. Glad you worked out who I was before my username change.

I think Yoon Seo remembered everything this time. As for Jung Won, I think that Se Euns mom changed the program and that's why Jung Won is now sitting in the back.

The ending suited the drama, thus it was somewhat satisfying in the terms of - I knew that it would be something like this. Even though there were many plot holes and the ending itself lacks logic, it was still entertaining. Maybe time passes differently in the VR. So, perhaps they can spend days or weeks inside the VR, while in reality only a few hours pass. However the parents could definitely not keep the kids in there for eternity, since sooner or later the kid's parents will call the police to search for their kids. Also, it lacks logic, that two people would be able to kidnap a whole school class. Aside from that, it was still entertaining, even though th eplot could have been way better.

I thought about that already as well, that it could also be a alice in borderland thing.

And you might be right that Jung Won is special because of being the mafia. However she was also seen programming something in episode one. That's why I suspect there is more about her than being the mafia.

I hope for an ending that explains everything though.
