Indeed. It was so good that I still rewatch parts of it from time to time. I also created a small discord group and wrote english fanfictions. Hopefully we won't have to wait that long for Season 2. And I'm a little bit afraid - since my expectations are so high, it will be difficult to surpass them in Season 2. Currently I try to reduce my expactations so that I can be impressed again. :)

I felt the same ❤ and still do. It even made me write fanfictions in english again. ^^ Let's hope that Season 2 will be as good as Season 1. Hopefully it will really come out during 2024. Would be so great.

Yeah, there is a phenomen of liking a drama and still criticizing it. I enjoyed it despite its obvious flaws though.

When I registered here, I didn't know that the username can be different from the e-mail name also. When I realized I changed it. Glad you worked out who I was before my username change.

I think Yoon Seo remembered everything this time. As for Jung Won, I think that Se Euns mom changed the program and that's why Jung Won is now sitting in the back.

The ending suited the drama, thus it was somewhat satisfying in the terms of - I knew that it would be something like this. Even though there were many plot holes and the ending itself lacks logic, it was still entertaining. Maybe time passes differently in the VR. So, perhaps they can spend days or weeks inside the VR, while in reality only a few hours pass. However the parents could definitely not keep the kids in there for eternity, since sooner or later the kid's parents will call the police to search for their kids. Also, it lacks logic, that two people would be able to kidnap a whole school class. Aside from that, it was still entertaining, even though th eplot could have been way better.

And you might be right that Jung Won is special because of being the mafia. However she was also seen programming something in episode one. That's why I suspect there is more about her than being the mafia.

I hope for an ending that explains everything though.

I wonder that as well. If Kyung Jung can get away with killing somebody, all citizens would have had the opportunity to simply kill off those they suspect as being the Mafia without even voting. As for killing more than 1 person at night, we not know for sure, since magically Jung Won runs around in the EP12 trailer as if she was not even hurt at all. This means she magically survived an attack with a knife as if she had self healing power. I still suspect the whole scenario is not real and when they kill either Jung Won or the FL the game will end immediately and they are brought back to reality. This would also explain the logical issues. If it wasn't real but a VR there could be mistakes in the code. Same goes for dream scenarios.

I wondered about that as well. He clearly admitted himself what he did. I think it's a plot hole. The writer obviously didn't pay attention and the editor missed that line.

Yes, it explained that in that area was a huge natural desaster. I don't clearly remember but I think some meteor came down. Many people died, were injured badly or fell into coma. And the buildings were also heavily damaged.

You see, you write in english. Thus people will assume that you refer to english fanfictions. On AO3 there is only one single english fanfictions for this drama. So, which fanfictions did you mean? Are there other english fanfictions? It's logical that people and Badass bunny herself will assume that you mean her ff because it is the only english fanfiction out there. Since you didn't clarify which fanfictions you mean, people can easily misunderstand. Please show us these so called "romanticizing" fanfictions. Because I can't find such fanfictions.

Aside from that: You seem deeply hurt inside yourself though. At least it seems to me as if you hate it, when people try to understand bullies/villians in stories. Do you believe that understanding a person might lessen the guilt they have brought on themselves? It doesn't. The villians/bullies are still guilty of their crimes. Knowing the reason behind doesn't change that. They still deserve punishment.

Knowing the reason can help a writer to find a way to create better characters. And it can help people, who try to create preventive measures to actually develop methods which can help to prevent bullying from even happening. If we know what causes a person to become evil, we can educate our children in the correct way to prevent them from turning into bullies. If we don't know - nothing will ever change because we will repeat the same mistakes over and over again.

Also, only because you believe there is no reason does not mean that there is really no reason behind it. There is always a reason, for everything we do. It's not the victim's fault at all. The reason is usually something that is not obvious. If someone says they had no reason they simply lie or are not aware themselves. Only if we uncover the lie and find the reason, we can actually change society. Otherwise we won't change anything as long as we keep fighting the symptoms instead of the cause.

As for fiction -> a story without good villians/bad guys is boring. Or do you want a story in which people reach their goals without any effort, without any suspense because everyone is a nice person? I suspect nobody out there will read a story about someone who lives a perfect life, doing perfect things and all that happens in the persons life is, that the person accomplishes their task without any problems. Because that person is perfect, living in a perfect world, a perfect paradise, without any obstacles. There is no evilness in that world. It is utopia. Therefore everyone is always happy, always nice, always helpful and people have no worries anymore, because they can trust that the next day will be perfect as well. Do you want such a story? I can write you one. I bet you will be bored by that story. ^^

It turned out that everyone has been in a coma. They had been between life and death. Those who died in the game, died in reality. Those who survived the game got the chance to decide whether they want to wake up in reality again or die.
