woojoo is actually so delulu. him thinking he is actually her husband makes me die laughing loll. I felt the chemistry was a bit off in the earlier episodes but maybe it was me expecting them to rush things hut it makes that she started developing feelings for him too and the chemistry seems so much more. Its toxic but I really love when one of the leads is mad at the other because thats when they cant hide their feelings when they get jealous or secrets are kept. my favorite episode week so far and we geg a kiss next week yayyy. Hate this cliffhangers and old Kim woo too needs to di e actually

what are low ratings to you? I am enjoying this drama but its nothing spectacular. Anything from a 7 to 8.5 is good enough for this imo

Okay I do get your point. you saying masculinism at first I thought you were hating on fl characters but I do agree it'll be nice to see more equal relationships in dramas these days but people fall for the delusional stories and wonder why no man will cross over an ocean to save them[ when life gives you tangerines]. Pmg I really enjoyed my liberation notes though, they were distant but felt so intimate and close. she didn't know him well but he let her see him too little by little snd evntually after the time slip both had grown and were more open eith their feelings. I just love flawed characters falling in love. Yeah time skips are so annoying but I believe because this is my first life is a perfect drama.

I get your point about similar tropes but this feels like one of the first few this year thats a cliche. Love Scout, Love your enemy, Brewing love were some good ones that I felt were more equal this year

They are still mistreated and disrespected in kdramas imo. I won't generalized because its not always the case but many kdramas infantilize female leads and place a male lead as this life saver and servant of the fl as if she js not a whole person with ambiotions and dreams that can work hard and think etc. Green flag mls are so fake often because its very unrealistic standards. Men and wkmen are not oerfect and a relationship where there is so much imbalance and uts always one oartner doing all the heavy lifting emotionally, financially, it builds resentment and burnout.

I would not go as far as calling kdramas feminist because they make male leads who do everything for the female leads. I often find that very unrealistic tbh. But thats what a huge portion of fans enjoy. I font know if you really watch kdramas if you have not seen second female leads constantly demonized and chasing after the ml like a loser and trying so hard. I dont enjoy when its the ml doing all the chasing all the time despite getting rejected. But I think we deserve some compensation eith all the jerk male leads in og kdramas loll. If it was truly the opposite the female leads will be bullying and abusing the male leads in the name of love but that doesn't happen.

I think I find the best and equal and unique live stories in slice of life or melodramatic with flawed characters and nobody being perfect and jjst being made for 1 character. Because this is my first life, summer strike, my liberation notes are examples of some

There are still good plots and stories. sometimes a cliche romcom is needed. There can be similarities with unique things about each too

Idk I think i buy the money hungry one more as people really do anything for money but yeah the way its played out with someone in the family killing their parents or just making their life difficult is definitely overdone

yeah exactly, the switch up was crazy... I guess someone helping you through a difficult and traumatic moment means s lot to kind but I dont see why that has to be love exactly. I hope they develop her feelings a bit more though, making the fake love makes her believe its real and it works out. But yeah for romcoms, I won't think too much and just enjoy the chemistry

Is it just me that feels everything is happening so fast, he already likes her but her feelings for him is kind of a doubt as she just broke uo eith her long term ex and is going through a transition in life. One thing about the childhood trope I dont like is when that is what is carrying this new relationship. like yeah ee met as kids but we are two grown people standing in front of each other now with different paths, different ambitions and goals. Fall in love with your current version irregardless of what the past was like. Sigh. asides that im enjoying it so far, the episodes feel too short in the end and I like the second lead couple a lot. Grumpy ml with sunshine fl is amazing
