what love? And how is it toxic?

I don't think it was a badly written drama though? my problems with the drama was the male leads character snd behaviour and the female leads tolerance of it but in my opinion, I think it was a well written drama and it was entertaining. Definitely found the characters interesting.

I think he was just trying to save his ass really when he kept helping and it just seemed like the type of person he was too. He may have felt fondly about her but the chabge was way too drastic after he knew who she was. No wonder his friend thought he just felt sorry and felt like he owed her. We are just making assumptions that should have been clear from the drama and the scenes with the actors. But its all well snd done i guess, just 4 episodes left.

But he did not start being sweet to her till after. It was just an awkward scene. So his type of girl at the time was who exactly? she's a pretty lady, snd would be any mans type but that was not enough for me. I think they revealed it to him way too soon before he could form a solid opinion on her as a woman now and not connect her to this childhood girl who comforted him in a bad moment.

A simple story can have some depth especially when thats what they are trying to portray. We would hope they would give our characters some more time to fall for each other and get to know each other better and not just say its because of when they were kids and again asides just the story whixh i can be fine with, the editting and a lot of scenes could have done with a retake I'd say but thats just my opinion due to my expecations with this caliber of actors. if this was a newbie, I wouldn't even care that much.

Its human nature,not everyone can just drop a drama at the slightest proof that it may not be for them idk. I am enjoying more so because I like the actors and I am jjst not taking it seriously. but I will admit giving both these actors previous scripts, I was definitely expecting something with more depth as another commenter said snd just better writing and synergy of the drama. Even when I read the plot before, this does not do that good of a job presenting it tbh. But its a silly watch if you just chill and not take it too serious which some people can't do lol

You dont know real struggle of 3 to 10 mins episodes

This part! I am just ignoring it and acting like her started falling for her because it just looks off them acting all lovey lovey when he couldn't stand her a minute ago and suddenly she's his xhildhood love and he likes her now. I would have been fine wirh it if they fell first then that was a plus. This just looks fake because she fell for him when he was only treating her nice because he knew who she was.

Can you not respond like this when people have valid criticisms. Romcom does mean lazy writing and plot holes. This is why some.people look down on romcoms when theres obviously repeated tropes thats literally the same story. I like this drama but its far frkm perfect, a lot of the acting and chemistry feels off, there certain plot holes, not to talk of this whole childhood trope where he only starts liking her when she finds out who he is. Its not because its a romcom. I love romcoms but the show could have been edited better, better acting and also more creative.

But how did he know that was where she was going? is it because he knew it was her dad's death anniversary. I wish they at least mentioned it again though, where did he save the address or he just never forgot?

so many plot holes, how did he know her house and where she went lol? And amateur wrote this drama for sure. idk how both these actors picked up this script

I think it was hard to really bond on screen, maybe they needed another staff to help with that because it feels very awkward still even though they are dating

Honestly are people just watching clips. I am enjoying as i have said multiple times but this drama is all over the place. love next door was way more cohesive and it actually had good pacing where we saw the leads feelings. A lot of this drama is very clickbaity and it lacks synergy.

It'll have been fine if he had a redeemable character but he's honestly the worst. He does not even have any gain from this as Meri can never love him wirh this type of behavior. so its just a selfish act to cause chaos and ruin Meris life so she can be miserable like him
