Even in her KSH's previous drama "MLL" her ex hid about his illness from her and later on when he told her the truth it was just too late. In that drama SML was mature enough to let go of her and was quite a man about it, he didn't cry or beg her to not go for ML but instead told her to go with her heart.

I personally don't hate SML in this one as he hasn't done anything too shitty or played wrong tricks to get back with her till now. He is trying to mend things and asking for a second chance but still not being a bitch. Looking at the preview of him returning her letters back to her it looks like he will move on too.

ML needs to stand up to his controlling mom, looks like it will happen in E8. I do sense a breakup coming up to the one day relationship in E7.

So the cliche storyline continues, I think we all know how it will end :

E6 : Return of ML's mom , SML telling why he left and asking for another chance, Misunderstandings, Conflicted FL, will most likely end with a breakup to the one day relationship.

E7 : Staying apart, awkward encounters, FL and SML working together, ML decides to go back to US with mom,

E8: FL decides to end things with SML for good, Runs to airport to stop ML from leaving, ML finally stands up to his mom.............(HE)

-A brother who in a way was responsible for ML's fall both in sports and then goes on to make out with the girl he has liked for years ( maybe he didn't know his brother's crush or maybe he did). It looks like when his LS went to US to train, the girl went too and there they became close to each other.

-A father......he is just a joke at this point of time.

Atleast for now FL has shown some redeeming qualities and in future will help him get back to tennis later on but the family total shit.

Kudos to HyeJi for being a good friend. She took the rejection like a champ and is even helping ML pursue FL.

The biggest problem is lack of communication, If only the two can communicate properly and say what they really want then things wouldn't have gotten this bad.

It is good this drama has only 14 eps so maybe they won't drag things on for long.

E10 will be them ending the contract with her probably moving back to her house. This painter guy will try to pursue FL. I don't think this entire ML's ex gf thing will be true but a misunderstanding and their relationship is only friendship and nothing else.

Things may start to fall back in place in E11 or E12 with painter dude getting rejected and leads confessing to each other.

True....he doesn't have the basic manners to not eavesdrop on other people's lives. He is probably going to tell FL he knows about her and ML's fake relationship as he accidently heard them but dude was totally eavesdropping.

They dated, he most likely initiated the breakup probably cuz of some once in a lifetime opportunity as we see he is quite famous now. She was hurt badly and still isn't over the pain.

So ML liked FL who liked SML. He ended up with an unrequited love and she ended up dating SML but had a painful breakup and now years later they all meet again.

Have seen this plot plenty of times in many Chinese and Korean dramas before.
Everyone knows what will happen next:

FL is still hurt over breakup, SML will try to get back with her, ML will try to be with her and help her get over SML. In the end ML/FL will end up together..........End of Story

No wonder this drama has only 8 eps and will be over in 4 weeks since there is nothing much to add to it.

HT's definition of love is different from that of JX but he surely loves her. The best thing for both of them is to communicate better in future. The kidnapping stuff will happen maybe by the end of next ep.

Looks like Yi Chen is out of the picture for LiLi. As annoying as SZZ is and looks atleast he is going for the girl he likes and is there for her unlike this guy who has taken the back seat. Dude should just go live on with his daughter.

The lakhorn has one of the biggest red flags of a FL and a doormat of a ML. She keeps fucking things up again and again, humiliates him and dude just forgives her and wiggles his tail back to her.

Yi Chen really needs to work on his internal struggles with marriage. He is getting a girl who loves him a lot and even happily accepts his daughter but still won't marry her. Of course the girl will feel devastated.

This SZZ guy has become quite annoying and a total pain in the ass. Dude needs to learn boundaries.

Such a bittersweet ending, they went way different than the webtoon.
