The fact that on insta there are morons who are pretty much romanticizing the whole rain sequence and wishing for a man like ML is quite disturbing.

Looking at E15 preview:

It looks like FL may have gone to prison to see Xue Ting only to hear gunshot sounds. ML then lied to FL that Xue Ting was shot dead and she fainted. She wakes up in his room and looks like she has fallen ill with him trying to feed her porridge. He then reveals to her Xue Ting is alive, FL starts to weep and slaps him in anger for his lie.

It looks like in a few eps he will start to realize how him holding FL captive will kill her so he will set her free.

I also quite intrigued with his brother in law storyline and how it will progress. They need to give him and ML 's sister more scenes to show off their relation progressing.

At this point he isn't even a red flag but straight up black. He went from pursuing an engaged woman to straight up sexually assaulting and forcing her and if anyone thought the whole rain sequence was romantic then they need to get mentally checked.

The kind of shit ML is doing had it be done by some SML in a drama, folks would have gone nuts. Then again every once in a while I do enjoy seeing a morally grey male lead.

I don't know about y'all but for someone who hasn't watched the original one, I am absolutely loving it so far.

I think he will get conflicted for his growing feelings towards his wife. Also the revenge might very well be a misunderstanding and will be revealed later on.

The drama is quite different from novel and thankfully so.

As for amnesia plot and how it may end , it looks ML will have Xue Ting arrested on charges of leaking info or have him sent far away for a while. FL's true parentage will be revealed with her father being the same as Zi Yi. Now either the father fearing his reputation or maybe Zi Yi after finding out Ping Jun is her step sister will try to have her killed by burning her house down as shown in the clips from trailer both Ping Jun and her mom in the burning house and later on ML saving her.

FL falls into coma and wakes up later on with amnesia. ML tells her he is her fiance and showers her with love leading to their marriage. I am not sure if her mom will survive. It will be a happy marriage until she remembers who she is and how ML lied to her all this time leading to a crash out. ML will forcibly keep her by his side pretty much locked his mansion causing her to almost end herself only for him to realize he can't keep her caged like his birds as it will kill her as shown in dialogues from trailer. So he will let her leave and himself go to the war zone after things get worse. Then will follow the cliche FL realizing she does love him and bla bla going to the war zone herself to be with him. Both will somehow manage to survive and as in one of the leaked clips of them in bed with a kid so a happy ending.

I am glad FL really gave it back to ML by telling him he means nothing to her and hit his ego when he was pretty much forcing himself on her. She knows he is a guy capable of ruining not just her but everyone she loves yet stood her ground. There was pretty much nothing romantic about this moment but more like a tussle between a predator & prey.

He did much more than that but then again ML wasn' t any better.
FL was pretty much a grief stricken doormat who was ruined physically and mentally by monsters and even her kids met a tragic fate.

I don't think they will go in that direction atleast not entirely. There will be a toxic relationship and shitloads of trauma but not as unhinged as was in the novel.

I don't think they will go full novel route. There may be a sad ending with either of them dying but it wouldn't be as diabolical as it was in the novel especially for FL and her kids.
They did make some changes to FL's character which is good since she was pretty much a doormat in the novel while ML so far is showing off his toxic traits which will get worse later on. Looking forward to see how things pan out.

So far it's been quite engaging with the right amount of humor and thrill.

Should have left Pi O's mom in prison instead of that happy reunion.

Overall it was a happy ending with both of them being content with their lives and instead of chasing stardom and competitions are simply making music to heal others.

I am glad to see Ji Hye paying the price for her mistakes and realizing she was the cause of pain for her son all this time. Looks like Jeong Yo might leave as a regret for hating the wrong person all these years and we get a time skip with both of them reaching new heights in their careers and meeting again to perform together.

As far Pio saying he would have had gotten rid of Jeong Yo back then, lets not forget he was simply a teenager under too much stress. No matter how hard he tried he was never acknowledged by his grandfather, his mother again and again pressing and pushing him to be the best, constantly being judged and belittled while no one was there who understood how broken he was inside, all while another guy who he met and became friend by chance was taking away all the spotlight and trust of his grandfather. So no shit such wrong thoughts were popping in his head. I don't even blame him but only have pity for him, if only he was born in a warm and loving family.

I still don't feel any sadness for how the grandma died as she was the root cause of everything. It was her and her wrong teaching that turned the bastard son into a morally black and corrupt human being who only cared for power which later resulted in her own daughter's death and several more. Had she raised Xie Shu with right moral values, he wouldn't have become the monster he did and nor she would have lost her daughter.

As far as the rest of the wives are concerned, the well deserved tragic endings were so satisfying to watch.

Thirty year old folks playing teenagers is literally the most k drama thing.

The whole accident stuff was one of the worst choreographed ones I have ever seen. It was absolutely idiotic.

The evil first madam having tears in her eyes to show as she was sad but at the same time smiling while hiding her mouth was so fkin creepy, Kudos to the actress.
