I love how mature he was with the fact that if there relationship causes them misery in future and even working on it won't change that, they should end it to avoid hurting each other.

I justwatch a scene she talking to the sml in her house and she said she don't like to live with males in same…
It's funny you have been ranting constantly about this drama and it's characters since it started but continue to watch every episode. Man you are desperate for attention.

I loathe her mother more than the mother from Go Ahead. Both do not deserve to be called mothers!
Couldn't agree more. ML's mother in Go Ahead was so fuckin horrible and is simply forgiven in the end why cuz she tries to end her life and hurt ML even more. A horrible wife and shitty mother gets her happy ending.

From what I have heard from the novel readers here, WYF will be done with her mom once and for all, so hopefully the same is followed in the drama.

Even though maybe later on she and Su Ye will be lover it still irritates me. Why not make thing clear with Yan…
We have already seen how loudly and aggressively he reacted when she rejected him in the house, doing it in front of the hotel would have only made things worse for her and her job.
On The Best Thing Mar 5, 2025
Just when I thought the letter was him apologizing for his shit and wishing well for future, even in that he was showing off he is the right person for her and not ML. A perfect example of someone having main character syndrome.

Atleast FL did manage to move on from the past, now the only way they can fuck up the next eps is by introducing ML's ex gf.

Yeah, I think so too. The ML is too good for her honestly.
Every time such shit happens in the dramas where no matter how toxic and shitty parents are simply forgiven in the end just pisses me off.
On My Dearest Nemesis Mar 4, 2025
It will go for the same cliche happy ending, where years of trauma and pain caused by grandma will be forgiven in the end and they both will makeup.

One thing that will remain common in romantic c dramas is return of the ex to fuck things up.It always pisses…
Even with the kdrama "Love Next Door". It was so good to see how they portrayed the leads exes. Even in that drama FL had a painful past and a breakup but you do end up understanding things from her ex perspective too and not hate him. I don't remember anyone who hated him after they learnt the complete story.

It sucks Chinese dramas even after all these years haven't progressed in such scenarios.
On The Best Thing Mar 4, 2025
ML can take 99 steps towards her but she needs to take that 1 step. She still hasn't healed from her past which is somewhat understandable as the scars are too deep for her. The return of ex will continue for next few eps where he will assert his control over FL and it is upto her to fend it off.

Seeing ep 16 and previews of 17-18 oh well its not a cdrama without the jerk ex coming back and acting brave as…
One thing that will remain common in romantic c dramas is return of the ex to fuck things up.
It always pisses me off that 99% of romantic C dramas portray exes of the leads as total assholes who only want to separate the leads.

Folks calling out FL being toxic either have never been in a toxic relationship for sure to know how painful and affecting it can be or have seen too much vanilla dramas that they think real life is like that too.

She has been in such a long relationship with her ex and that too a toxic one where she was being gaslight again and again. From being called selfish to pretty much being harshly abandoned by her ex with whom she has spent 7 years of her life.

Her self respect has been buried down into the ground and the entire long distance relationship has left a huge scar on her so no wonder she is scared to go for another one. She is scared it will end up the same and she will hurt and will end up being hurt in this. All she ever wanted was to follow her life long dream to study abroad but never got any support from her family and her ex simply tormented her about it. Even when she is crying in front of the mirror, you can see she is blaming herself again.

( Could the rejection have been done in a better way with her explaining things out- YES for sure but then again she is not best at expressing herself to others since whenever she did in the past she got gaslight.)

Neither of them wrong it's just the timing is not right. She needs to have a closure from her past to move forward and looks like her ex returning may just help with that as she will be able to truly leave her painful past behind.

Poor girl can't catch a break. Just when going abroad issue was getting sorted out now her ex bf is back.

Does anybody else feel uneasy about his confession right now? I think she's gonna reject him because of her going…
For sure he is going to get rejected. Looking at the previews, they decided to be platonic friends and he is hurt by her not telling him that she is leaving also his personal struggles with his dad but I don't think they will drag it on much longer.
They may not get together in next few eps but surely will fix the issues between them.

SY is barely holding back when she is near.

And to make it worse, even after all the trauma she has given him, in the end she will be forgiven by the ML for a happy ending.
So many k and c dramas do it, where extremely shitty parents are simply forgiven just to give the drama a happy ending.

Don't like the second male lead at all. His heart was fluttering in the first scene with the second female lead…
Normally such characters are usually the antagonists or the asshole exes of leads but here he is being portrayed as a nice guy.
Other than him being a playboy asshole, there is some good chemistry between them.
