I think with actors playing roles too older or younger than their age isn't an issue but more about whether they manage to look like them is. There are actors and actresses with baby faces who had played high school roles even in their late 20s, hell Jang Nara managed to pull it off so well in "Go Back Couple" while being in her late 30s also the recent drama "Study Group" where Min Hyun too looked like a high schooler despite being 29.
Hyun Wook has always done well with his roles and even in this one he was really good. He is 23 and has the face of a young boy so no shit it is tough to think of his character as a 30 year old man. But If you were to ignore the 16 year time skip or the fact that he is supposed to be 30, just take him as a young director who meets his first crush again, then things do fall into place.
Looks like the constant push and pull between the leads really overshadowed everything. The drama has been slow paced , draggy at times with many characters other than the leads having barely any character development. So no wonder it is getting poor reviews.
I wish they had done things a little different than the novel especially with the leads relationship as it becomes frustrating for many viewers also pacing of this drama should have been better.
Her drama roles have been extremely poor so far with a few exceptions. No doubt she is pretty and can act decent but damn either she sucks at choosing scripts or she is not given any good ones.
WTF is this numbers Currently, 12 episodes have been completed and their ratings are 1. 3.8% 2 3.8% 3 2.2% 4 2.8%…
It's not just about LMH but also about the drama itself. Removing the space and research part, the story is mediocre and characters are frustrating. There is little chemistry between not just the leads but even with second leads it just looks forced plus this love quadruple just makes it worse.
This drama could have even done without adding romance to it and keeping it mostly about all the other things that are going on in characters lives be it their goals or secrets. Also instead of making it 16 eps simply keep it upto 12eps. It would have made it more engaging and enjoyable to watch. Look how good "The Trauma Code" did with its engaging storyline.
The drama makers wanted to mix both the scifi and romance genre together but ended up screwing up in both.
My heart breaks for Go Eun's character but then again she is going after someone who clearly broke up with her and expect him to love her is just gonna hurt her more.
Gang Su is head over heels in love with Go Eun and is ready to do anything for her even if it she doesn't love him back. I kind of like his character and do wish Go Eun and him to get back together.
Dong A, this motherfucker first cheats, then says sorry and expects everything to go back to normal and then blames ML for things not working out with Eve. This guy just can't handle rejection and deserves to die alone.
Ryong, someone please give this man a pair of balls and teach him some defense techniques. All he does is get his ass kicked by both the girl's exes.
It is not everyday you see a Kdrama where the couple deal with such things so maturely. Normally the dramas follow the cliche story where FL starts blaming ML or hates him for her loss not realizing it was never his fault but in this one they did it so well.
FL needed time to process it and heal from the pain. She knew ML too was just a kid back then and couldn't have done anything. Both talked things out and got back together(not that they broke up in first place). I love the bond the trio shares with each other as all three ML, FL and ML's daughter filled the empty spaces they all were having.
Fl got a warm family, Byeol got a mother, ML got a good life partner who not just love him but his daughter too.
Looks like Seok Gyeong might just have a chance to restart things with his ex. His sad face wasn't even because of Kang Hee but because of her and now that she has seen her cheating husband SG can help her get rid of him.
The most unrealistic part of the drama is ML choosing GHJ over HJE. I mean GHJ is pretty but HJE is just another level of beauty plus daughter of a billionaire plus loyal but then again it is a drama.'
I really didn't like GangSu before but damn he loves Go Eun a lot and even deserves another chance with her.
Dong A has got some serious balls to risk his life but that entire love thing is total cringe. He is simply hurting two women. FL probably doesn't him love him now but is being be guilt tripped after the entire cringey display of love from Dong A and the fact he saved her.

Ryong needs to grow a pair of balls. He gets intimidated and has his ass kicked by his ex's ex, ex's daddy, gf's ex.
Looking at the preview it looks like Gang Su is opening up to Go Eun about his inner pain on loosing his baby and her.
