Dong A really ain't taking rejection lightly. This moron doesn't deserve Eve or Tae Hui.

Ryong needs to grow a pair of balls. He gets intimidated and has his ass kicked by his ex's ex, ex's daddy, gf's ex.

Looking at the preview it looks like Gang Su is opening up to Go Eun about his inner pain on loosing his baby and her.

WTF is this numbers Currently, 12 episodes have been completed and their ratings are 1. 3.8% 2 3.8% 3 2.2% 4 2.8%…
It's not just about LMH but also about the drama itself. Removing the space and research part, the story is mediocre and characters are frustrating. There is little chemistry between not just the leads but even with second leads it just looks forced plus this love quadruple just makes it worse.

This drama could have even done without adding romance to it and keeping it mostly about all the other things that are going on in characters lives be it their goals or secrets. Also instead of making it 16 eps simply keep it upto 12eps. It would have made it more engaging and enjoyable to watch. Look how good "The Trauma Code" did with its engaging storyline.

The drama makers wanted to mix both the scifi and romance genre together but ended up screwing up in both.

My heart breaks for Go Eun's character but then again she is going after someone who clearly broke up with her and expect him to love her is just gonna hurt her more.

Gang Su is head over heels in love with Go Eun and is ready to do anything for her even if it she doesn't love him back. I kind of like his character and do wish Go Eun and him to get back together.

Dong A, this motherfucker first cheats, then says sorry and expects everything to go back to normal and then blames ML for things not working out with Eve. This guy just can't handle rejection and deserves to die alone.

Ryong, someone please give this man a pair of balls and teach him some defense techniques. All he does is get his ass kicked by both the girl's exes.

It is not everyday you see a Kdrama where the couple deal with such things so maturely. Normally the dramas follow the cliche story where FL starts blaming ML or hates him for her loss not realizing it was never his fault but in this one they did it so well.

FL needed time to process it and heal from the pain. She knew ML too was just a kid back then and couldn't have done anything. Both talked things out and got back together(not that they broke up in first place). I love the bond the trio shares with each other as all three ML, FL and ML's daughter filled the empty spaces they all were having.

Fl got a warm family, Byeol got a mother, ML got a good life partner who not just love him but his daughter too.

Looks like Seok Gyeong might just have a chance to restart things with his ex. His sad face wasn't even because of Kang Hee but because of her and now that she has seen her cheating husband SG can help her get rid of him.

The most unrealistic part of the drama is ML choosing GHJ over HJE. I mean GHJ is pretty but HJE is just another level of beauty plus daughter of a billionaire plus loyal but then again it is a drama.'

I really didn't like GangSu before but damn he loves Go Eun a lot and even deserves another chance with her.

Dong A has got some serious balls to risk his life but that entire love thing is total cringe. He is simply hurting two women. FL probably doesn't him love him now but is being be guilt tripped after the entire cringey display of love from Dong A and the fact he saved her.

The only reason for ML's misery is ML himself. He just couldn't move on from his first love and kept waiting all these years even when she never said him to do so. Also later on when she rejected him, he still kept going back to her only to have his heart broken again and again. He can't even stand up to his toxic mother who hates FL and vice versa. Even now that they are sort of making up, both need to work on their scars and heal.
I hope they do go for the novel ending and it looks like the drama will end with that ending.

Don't worry they ain't ending up together in the end.
It is an open ending where she has healed from her past. It is shown as if she is ready to move on from her scars and her first love.

Why is she acting pissed, hurt and jealous seeing him with another woman, after SHE rejected him?! I sincerely…
Don't worry they ain't ending up together in the end.

Having read the novel, I knew FL and ML were gonna receive mixed reactions for their characters and will go worse if the drama has the same ending as the novel.

In case they are gonna go the generic K-drama style{

7-8: Them confessing and most likely begin a relationship by the end of E8.

8-9: Working on their relationship, keeping it hidden from the colleagues. FL and ML's daughter warming up sessions. Both will open up about their pasts to each other.

9-10: Past comes back to haunt them. Either his ex wife or her dad's death being related to him.

11- Breakup

12- Back together again

They are writing it to be a romcom while the webtoon was a total mystery, thriller. They did change the characters name from Do Jun and Yuri too Geyong Do and Ji U but I don't know how are they gonna shove comedy in it.
The webtoon sure is engaging till the end with a ML who is ready to go through hell for the girl he still loves after all these years.

The only part I hate is giving her mom a redemption arc. The whole Hong family thing is frustrating because it…
Agreed to that, among Hee joo's entire family it is her who doesn't deserve redemption at all.

For those wondering what the heck is up with the war scenario in episode 12 it’s based on what happened in the…
Frankly I didn't want the entire war scenario from the novel to be added to the drama thinking it will be rushed but they managed to pull it off quite well.
On When the Phone Rings Jan 3, 2025
I really don't want the entire HeeJoo's mom redemption arc as that woman doesn't deserve any. Tormented the hell out of her daughter, never cared for her ex husband and gaslight her all her life only to regret it now and look how the drama is going different from the novel, maybe they will show them making up too which I would hate to see.

Can you explain please?
In short The novel has a plot ending where SaEon goes missing after the blast and is held captive for quite a while. Later Hee Joo goes to rescue him after receiving distress calls and they reunite. It was unnecessarily added and felt rushed to say the best so I am glad they aren't going that way.

Okay so probably psycho Sa Eon revealed to fake Sa Eon that it was the latter's father who caused the accident…
I don't see any other reason for Sa Eon to have that look but this revelation. Maybe they will give a last 15 minute happy ending. He will disappear and after months of separation, when the pain and guilt has toned down will finally call her.
