This is one of the dramas where I wished the leads don't end up together as all you get is a guy who despite being hurt and humiliated a 100 times comes back wiggling his tail to a toxic brat with little to no redeeming qualities.
As glad I was to see FL not being a total toxic shit like in the thai version, they really turned FL's dad to a full blown asshole with no redeeming qualities at all. Every other episode he just becomes worse.
They really didn't give grandma any redeeming quality. In the end she will throw a bullshit reason on how she has been in pain all her life and just wanted to blame someone for it so she traumatized ML all his life but now wishes to make up. Happy crappy cliche ending for them.
The leads making up so fast was something I wasn't expected, I thought they will drag it on till next ep but thank god they didn't.
I am still confused about ML's secretary and whose side is she really on. Sometimes it is as if she wants to protect ML but other times it looks like she has a hidden agenda.
I know for a fact that they will go for the cliche ending trope where granny is forgiven for all the trauma and makes up with ML which will suck so badly. I loved how in "The First Frost" FL actually is done with her horrible mother once and for all and shows no forgiveness for years of pain she caused by then gain this drama is a fluffy rom com so they won't really go that path.

If it is ever adapted to a drama or a movie, all I hope is they don't change anything from the manga or add unnecessary drama to it. The manga and anime are so fluffy and heartwarming to see that any change to it for me will be a letdown.

As satisfying as it was to watch Xingde get death sentence and YF finally being done with her mother for good to the heartwarming moment when YF sees the tickets SY bought to visit her, it was pure rollercoaster of emotions.
In two days two dramas ended with the greenest flags of the male leads.
