They are writing it to be a romcom while the webtoon was a total mystery, thriller. They did change the characters name from Do Jun and Yuri too Geyong Do and Ji U but I don't know how are they gonna shove comedy in it.
The webtoon sure is engaging till the end with a ML who is ready to go through hell for the girl he still loves after all these years.

Agreed to that, among Hee joo's entire family it is her who doesn't deserve redemption at all.

Frankly I didn't want the entire war scenario from the novel to be added to the drama thinking it will be rushed but they managed to pull it off quite well.

I really don't want the entire HeeJoo's mom redemption arc as that woman doesn't deserve any. Tormented the hell out of her daughter, never cared for her ex husband and gaslight her all her life only to regret it now and look how the drama is going different from the novel, maybe they will show them making up too which I would hate to see.

In short The novel has a plot ending where SaEon goes missing after the blast and is held captive for quite a while. Later Hee Joo goes to rescue him after receiving distress calls and they reunite. It was unnecessarily added and felt rushed to say the best so I am glad they aren't going that way.

I don't see any other reason for Sa Eon to have that look but this revelation. Maybe they will give a last 15 minute happy ending. He will disappear and after months of separation, when the pain and guilt has toned down will finally call her.

They have gone totally different from the novel which is actually for the better.

I am glad they didn't go full novel but did make changes to the script be it the characters or story arcs.

It is always that one moron who posts things just to get views. Only because of folks and media like these , celebs have to suffer.

A little melodrama but mostly lighthearted and more about friendship and healing.

The last 5 minutes were total bliss for the leads and viewers

From what I have read, it is an open ending in the novel where FL finally comes to face and accept her past but at the same time also move on be it her scars or her first love. So if they are going full novel then Happy Ending for the leads isn't happening and she will be going to move on in her life and fall for someone else.

All i hope is they don't go full novel but actually give a happy ending.

They made Baek Sa Eon quite a gentleman in the drama as compared to novel.

That is exactly what will happen.

Not really a theory but something that does happen in story and will be shown later on. Lot of revelations coming ahead.

I hope they do cover the entire webtoon and not change or skip things that were in the story. 8 eps are enough for the entire arc to be summed in.

Damn I wasn't expecting the movie to be that erotic when i looked at the first trailer but then again the director is Kim Dae Woo who has certainly made erotic movies before. I thought they were going to keep it lighter than the original one but they sure as hell didn't hold back at all.

Park Ji Hyun going full nude and doing those scenes wasn't on my list at all and even watching them was shocking at first but not gonna lie was quite hot even though the male actor happened to be 18 years older than her. I knew these scenes were gonna create as lot of stir and have folks talking about it and looks like even the leads know it too.

The story is decent with some twists and turns, and does keeps your interest.
I would rate it 7/10

It is always that one jealous best friend that fucks up everything. Looking at how she is now, she ain't gonna stop soon.

It looks like they are gonna start opening up to each other now . Looks like he knows she can talk but won't figure out that she is the one who calls him.
