YM and GJ are already doing another drama produced by the same company together. I hope they do Siming with LYT! She appeared in this drama a couple of times but she was oozing an insane amount of charisma in her little sreen time

Flashbacks to Xuanji from LAR getting dragged to hell and back and overly hated for making wrong decisions when she was legit fvcking gaslit and constantly emotionally blackmailed by people around her to make those choices...She was also hated for being "dumb" when she was fvcking BORN with undeveloped senses...🤦🏻‍♀️ Let me talk about lack of sympathy for female characters and I can make an unending list

Really agree with your points on both JL and RH....You can feel bad for people who have been through awful things but that's just a "cause" of them doing bad things in response, not an "excuse". RH is a mass murderer and an obsessive psycho, I have felt bad for him but there's really no redemption for him...For JL, even before the plot reval about her identity, she said it many times that she has constantly been bullied and abused by people because she was an orphan and that's why she's always after her personal gain and doesn't consider anyone as a friend or hers cause she has trust issues...I don't understand why exactly RH deserves to be pitted but JL has been treated like she was just a little b*tch who is annoying for no reason...

I can kinda say that the lack of sympathy is mostly when it comes to female characters though...Xunfeng and Ronghao receiving more sympathy and understanding than Jieli equals Nate not getting half as hated and ridiculed as Cassie did by people who watched Euphoria...lol

Do you always get overly frustrated at people not understanding why certain characters do things that are not-so-right morally but understandable from that character's POV or are you NOT an INFP?

LYT and YSX have had like, 2 scenes together in this drama but there is just SOOOO much chemistry between them ^_^ we need more masterXstudent pairs that are both girls

Yes exactly 😭 that was just a very well thought sequence in general, the "struggle" he has with himself shown in this way was pretty clever. Miles better than the generic way character deaths for people who care about them are dealt with which is usually them getting drunk, looking messy and reminiscing memories lol (I also find the psychological aspect of the way Tan Sui possesses people and gets them to make deals with him similar to this and very interesting)

I love this thing whenever a character is dying in a story, the writer does something very subtle and very small right there that makes you want to k!ll yourself and brings the pain to it's PEAK, it's sometimes a simple dialogue that has an emotional meaning, a memory rewind, a subtle gesture etc (like there was a drama I don't remember what it exactly was, but the ML d!ed and FL started remembering the fact that she dreamt of them growing old together once and that was just so heartbreaking the pain is engraved in my heart lol)...When she did that "smile" thing I just fvcking lost it that shit was truly my last straw my 13th reason googling ways to dye

Watching the next episodes' previews, I know I'm gonna see the 'too girly too cute too childish squeaky voice why she have bangs ew cutsy girl disgusting and annoying and stupid😡' gang who were stumping their feet about not having a "fierce" and "strong" female lead like kids are gonna be crying about missing XLH tomorrow lol

DFQC's dream actually reflected the thoughts and things going on in his subconscious mind as dreams always do. They were in Orchid's garden in his dream and she was wearing her fairy outfits because he really just wanted her to be free and live where she felt she belonged to, And the "dream" version of XLH telling him she would marry someone else if he leaves her also comes from probably his biggest sense of insecurity since the first day he saw her and ch in that mirror. The "real" her would really never say something like that as we know what kind of a person she was..

Anything war related in any type of story always leaves me depressed and empty inside with a suffocating feeling down in my heart... maybe it's because I'm from an ill fated region that has been suffering from it for decades?? Idk I'm just feeling a really ugly type of sadness rn...
