I really hope people understand that it's not just abt intimate scenes, casting minors in these kind of shows is inappropriate and damaging to their mental and physical well-being by nature regardless of intimate romantic scenes and it would still be bad even if her costar was her age...actors constantly talk about how they starve themselves and go on extreme diets before filming costume dramas and it's obviously bc being a celebrity means being doomed to get judged and shit talked about your appearance and body on the internet forever and being under pressure to fit into unrealistic beauty standards by the industry people themselves. That's already bad enough, now imagine someone having to go through all that from their childhood and see how much irreversible damage it's gonna do to them...

There are dozens of youth dramas made every year and they always cast people pushing 30 as highschoolers in those but when they actually need to cast an adult among the plenty of choices available, they cast children 💀

So nrta doesn't want queer people, morally gray characters, men wearing earrings and makeup in HISTORICAL FANTASY dramas, even mentions of su!cide and bullying for the sake of social commentary. They even censor mentions of periods and sanitary products but have no rules to prevent greedy companies and greedier streaming platforms from taking advantage of kids in the ent industry. Makes so much sense 🤡💖🎀✨️

Reborn's rating in here is kind of a joke tbh considering how many crappy costume idol dramas get 8.5+ ratings just bc they're edgy lol...Reborn is much, much better than L&P imo but bc it addresses serious issues, people who only watch for the romance get impatient with it🤦🏻‍♀️
