Seriously though, can you like EVER critisize the fact that teenage girls and adult men get paired up in romance costume cdramas without gege stans attacking you and accusing you of hating on their fave and spreading "unnecessary" negativity or telling you to not watch it if you hate it (a.k.a free speech doesn't exist and you shouldn't say things we don't like to see)??? Like you can litterally see the smoke coming out of ppl's ears in this comment section and would think hmh is being publically stoned by the way they're talking abt it, then you scroll down and not a single person has hate speech-ed him or said it's his fault. You should be more concerned abt the exploitation of kids actually!!! HMH will probably be fine babe but AM is gonna develop eating disorders and be preyed on by paparazzi and perverts on the internet at the ripe age of 17 bc her parents and company were greedy as shite.
the size difference between lsy and juji is crazy though like omfggg either he's a giant or she's 2 apples tall 😭 please cast them as leads in an actually promising show I'm begging!! Sth like Hyena or even a non romance crime thriller
I believe whoever designed the costumes in Princess hours sucked the soul and creativity out of every coworker of theirs in the industry to succeed bc I've genuinely not seen a single fantasy slash historical kdrama with costumes that are not straight up hideous ever since (Maybe except mr sunshine and Jeongnyeon). Like there's sooo much you could do if you combine traditional korean elements with western fashion yet they always end up with ugly, unfaltterinh, shapeless party city ahh costumes 😭
I don't think it's the make up here, it's the excessive smoothing filters they add on with specific lead characters.…
oh so he's to blame for the brows 😭 tbh for the makeup I think it depends on time and place. He does look boyish so it makes sense that they want to age him up, but it could be more subtle or done in the right scenes and not when he was sick and injured or in battlefield! If he was a demon lord in a fantasy drama I'd actually love to see the ml looking pretty and stylish but here it's just distracting
Just blocking anyone who hates on the fl atp I'm TIRED of seeing and fighting woman hating losers on this website like some of you people are never satisfied with female characters 🫠

the filters annoy me sm specially the fact that it's only on the main leads' faces and not used on the supporting actors...to me though it's pretty obvious that czy is wearing more makeup than lq. Maybe I look too much but it physically hurts to look at his eyebrows and see the eye makeup when him and lq are in one shot 😭
I actually think her role in Snowy night Timeless Love is more commanding and better suited to her general demeanor.…
also the biting doesn't have anything to do with lq as an actress tbh. It's just the screenwriters or the director trying to hard to push the "they're enemies and the hate eachother to d3ath" image on the cp. I find a lot of aura in her as the char she is here and also feel really good about the way she acts out physical pain. It's always a problem for me bc idol actors are always scared of looking bad on camera and end up having awkward expressions in emotionally intense scenes.

well I hated snowy night and found the character writing and directing awful so it didn't help. (and that's very telling bc I don't like zrb's directing that much either but this one looks better than SNTL to me lol) I personally do think she's more of a "Strong in an elegant and refined way" girlie than an aggressive one, that's why I was so excited to see her in SN, but the production and writing was so horrible I couldn't seat through more than 8 episodes or focus on the acting 😭
so I watched a few episodes and it's actually better than what I expected. This is a much better performance and more suitable role for li qin compared to other stuff of hers I've watched in the past couple of years. Her expressions and body language in the pain and suffering scenes are really natural and believable.
I've come to accept the makeup in costume idol dramas even when the chars are in the battlefield or sick and dying but when the ml has more on his face than the fl it's just distracting as hell like gosh I'm itching to reach inside the screen and wipe it off...and he's quite naturally good looking too i don't understand WHY
