when you see a painstaking amount of hate for female characters, before believing, ask yourself " are these girls really badly written and actually annoying or mdl users say so?" cause there's basically not one female character in a single Asian drama people on this site are 'satisfied' with. According to people here all cdrama and kdrama women are annoying and unreasonable.

This specific way cdrama producers love to have the actors pose and put the pic on the poster is awkward in general imo (I'm sorry but people in love never hug like that plzzzz) and the way these two look like they're about to burst out laughing at the moment makes it even more awkward 😭
yeah I'm deleting my last comments and really leaving this page this time but I'm petty and bitter and some ppl are absolutely horrible on this website so I need everybody to know I wrote an analysis on the anti trope gender dynamics in this drama and some stuff about fiction and escapism from reality (I always do this since I enjoy thinking critically about women's portryal in fiction and gender roles) and user Dr Ghost replied to me telling me to be his "guest" since I have "fantasies" of doing weird shit to men in real life. I don't think disagreeing with whatever opinion on a drama is really worth sexually harassing someone for online but yeah according to some ppl I've got daddy issues and am a petty bitch spreading misandry so it's okay ig.👍🏻

Because the novel is clearly a female centric story where the female character is the protagonist and the one who has the spotlight so?? Actually the part in your comment about equal tension and all isn't true...in fact, It's pretty much always been the exact opposite in fiction where the fem char constantly gets her ego crushed by a terrible toxic rude man, fixes his personal issues and traums and has to beg for his love in the end as well; So why is it so difficult to stand it when the genders are reversed for once??? I personlly don't care lol I actually love a pathetic male char who is down bad and miserable for the fl🤷🏻♀️ It's not like that we don't get enough of men being terrible to us in real life so what's so bad about enjoying stories with the gender roles reversed in fiction as escapism?
