I totally agree with you on the Haochen’s story. I was hoping for a proper dialogue between HM and HC. I initially wanted to give a 10 as soon as I finished it but after giving it some thoughts on what could have been done better, I decided to give it a 9.5, for the acting, the chemistry, and XY’s maternal grandma! Honestly, I didn’t invest in the second couple’s story. They just existed.

People say men usually seek women that are like their mothers. It’s the same case for FSG. FYX is similar to his mother in a lot of ways; intelligent, super strong, independent, kind hearted, caring and most importantly the desire to protect him at all costs. It’s so sexy!

I’m late to the party. Now I have caught up until episode 17. The female lead is strong and can flirt! Hahaha. FSG has definitely met her female counterpart. It’s funny how FSG , known as Susha’s Killer God, the most feared first prince, always loses to her in their banters. 😂😂😂😂. He looks like an inexperienced one as compared to her.

Love’s Ambition is 10/10 for me, for the acting, the story telling, the theme it explores, the happy ending and proper closure for all characters. Zhao Lusi once again proved her acting talent. Her portrayal of Xu Yan was brilliant. She truly immersed herself in the character. She made me believe Xu Yan is not just a character, she’s a living person. Grandma is undoubtedly my most favourite supporting character. What a wise woman, she is! She saved both XY and HC’s lives. She has very less screen time, but every time she is on screen, she exudes wisdom and her presence is always impactful.
