The comment section is surprisingly quieter this week. I wonder if it’s because the drama has changed its tone in recent episodes.
Anyway, I’m still looking forward to new episode every day. From the previews, it looks like the angst is coming. And I don’t think they’re going to proceed with the divorce. Will they have a kid together? I hope that we would get a full episode of their married life post reconciliation.

I agree with some of the comments that SHM’s behaviour is childish. I get that they try to show us how SHM remembers little things about XY, like her phone number etc. But I feel like the plot is all over the place. Some scenes are so random. Idk what messages the director and writer try to convey. I would prefer XY and SHM to have a proper conversation like they did in the resort.
Judging from the preview until episode, it looks like the tone of the story is still the same. I’m still hopeful that they will show us proper resolutions for SHM & XY’s relationship, Haochen’s birth secret, XY & her parents’ relationship and XY and SHM’s family relationship.

I wonder too. Literal translation of “ai ren” is a lover. But in this drama, they seem to use that term as “wife”.

I agree with Lusi. There are lessons learned from this drama for us, especially as women. We need to know our worth, not rush into a relationship and exit fast when it’s become toxic. Our wellbeing and mental health is definitely more precious than material possessions.

I think she feels guilty and like she owes the Shen family for lying to them. So she still wants help uphold their reputation by helping them creating an image of a happy family.

Well deserved! Lusi vs Lusi now. It’s insane!!! LLTG is one of my all time favourite dramas. But I still hope Love’s Ambition can overtake it. We’re only half way through. At this rate, it has a high chance to overtake even the first place!

They have this one month cooling off period before the divorce can go through. I low-key hope they would proceed with the divorce and then HM wins her back post divorce, do a proper courting. He’s starting missing her presence.

Wahhh….I start to despise ML’s character for what he did to Fang Lei. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like Fang Lei’s character, but for SHM to string her along and use her like that is despicable. He can be considered cheating on XY emotionally. Idk if I will ever like him after this.
