On another note, during the lunch with the sister scene, I could see XY has started questioning HM’s motives for inviting her sister to a meal and asking all those probing questions. The wheel has started turning in her head. This also shows how great ZLS is as an actress to be able to convey such messages using her facial expressions. The angst is coming and I’m all ready to see them break loose.

Episode 9 is so heartwarming. The sisters’ relationship is getting better. Happy to see XY’s smile. I hope her sister continues to become her greatest support system. I also love the banters between Haochen and XY. They made me laugh. The first laugh for me since I started watching this drama. These two have worked together multiple times and have undeniably great chemistry.

I have just seen it. Oh man, idk how SHM can come back from it. I totally support XY if she’s better off alone.

That one liner definitely hit harder. What even sadder how understanding the grandma was. She even added her list of excuses. 😭😭😭😭😭. They both deserve all the happiness in the world. 😢

Agree that she doesn’t marry the ML to climb the social ladder. She even rejected his offer to smoothen her career at the workplace. The ML gives her the attention and care she’s been craving to get from her family. The scene when the ML brought her to hospital and stayed with her when she fainted was her turning point to see the ML as a love interest.

I find it funny how we’re all anxious for XY whenever her lies are about to get discovered.
We can’t help but feel sorry for her despite knowing what she does is wrong. The girl went through a lot in life for such a young age. And she’s not treated fairly at work too. We’re all rooting for her to break free, find happiness and to be able to provide better life for her grandma.

I’m not familiar with the uni name. I was too lazy to do research when they mentioned about it. I thought the uni was a fictional one. It turned out it’s a real one. 😂😂😂

Now it has ended. The best things about this drama are the actors, acting, friendships between the Zhenzou brothers, and the fighting scenes. Cheng Yi was insanely good in them!

The not so good things about this drama are mainly the directing, editing and writing. They’re confusing and provided bad watching experience.

From their dialogues in the pool, I got that Hao Ming might have been the lover of her sister, it seems. The sister might have been dead though.
