This ML's character is too cruel. I'm at episode 7 and having a hard time to continue knowing that he's the love interest of the FL. 😰

She looks so familiar. Is she the same actress playing Shi Ji in Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Red-Moon Pact?

My guess is it was because she's still useful and a Prince Sui's goddaughter. He needs her to keep Prince Sui on his side for now.

We would think a beautiful, educated and with a good family background woman like Rose whom every man wants would have everything under her control. Unfortunately, it’s the total opposite. If you guys have to analyse her character, why do you think this could happen to her? I meant she has role models of good men in her life like her father and brother. Her parents have a very good relationship.

I am on Episode 21. TBH, both ZGD and FXW are getting on my nerves. I am scared to continue because I am worried for what’s coming for Rose.

First disappointment with ZH’s character. Why didn’t he mention that he’s no longer single? Did he do that on purpose because he got into a fight with Susu ? Is he making Xiaohe his backup plan now?

Susu’s mom is really toxic. She doesn’t believe in her daughter and uses her son as a leverage. I hope Susu finds a way to break free from this kind of mother. Definitely not good for her mental health.
She needs some healing too so she can move forward with her life and her relationship with ZH. I think suing and bringing her stepfather to justice might be the only way for her to heal.
I am rooting for you, Susu.

I started shipping Susu with Rosie’s bro since their first encounter. Their romance will be very passionate and explosive kind if it works out for them given Susu’s personality and once she lets her guard down.

I have a soft spot for Susu and I hope Rosie’s bro won’t break her heart.

I have just completed it. But what did I just watch? To be honest, I don’t quite get the story. It’s confusing.
What is inner and outer circle? Tear of Void? Black foxes?

I think it’s the directing and editing as well. Yeah hoping from one arc to another arc within one episode definitely doesn’t help either. I hope it’s getting better.

To be clear, I didn’t read the novel. I understand what you meant implied. But as an audience, I only see it from what’s shown not implied so I feel it’s abrupt. Like there’s only that one scene in the Human realm where THH wore a mask and took it off and Yuechu’s eyes were suddenly full of love and decided he has fallen in love. Like whaaat?

Yechu’s attraction to THH seems to come out of nowhere to me. He and THH didn’t seem to have a lot of interactions prior to him attracted to her.
It would be more convincing, if they spent time build up their relationship and showed them falling in love slowly.

I am shipping Tushan Yaya and A-Lai so hard.
A-Lai was impressed by Yaya and seems to find her amusing.
Also, that’s idol of Yaya is A-Lai, right? Aoshan something(?).

Hope you enjoy it like I did. The filming locations are very beautiful. The cinematography is great. They make me want to visit Yunnan so badly.

I finished watching Meet Yourself yesterday. Another drama marathon. Hahaha. That drama is lighter than this one. Totally loved it. Li Xian’s character is very different in that one. Liu Yi Fei is very beautiful and elegant as Xu Hongdou.

It’s really a great drama. The ML and FL start as friends and slowly fall in love with each other. Their relationship is very mature. No love triangle, no silly misunderstanding.
It’s lovey dovey and sweet after they get together.

They’re only officially together in episode 31! I need to warn you that this is a slice of life and very slow burn drama. Even though the FL and ML are the main characters, the drama also gives screen times to other characters to show their growth.
