I would have preferred a lesbian couple instead of a straight couple tbh. If 3/4 of the story is gay like the…
A lesbian second couple would've been the dream

It's time for Korea to stop playing coy with our favorite gay stories and make a choice. Either give us the gay goodness we crave, or take your half-hearted, straight-washed adaptations and put them back in the closet where they belong

I don't understand. What is going on and what are you trying to say?
"... the show is Sha good"

That's your opinion

This adaptation better not be as basic and homophobic as I suspect or I'll unleash my inner Internet villain in the comments section. You've been warned

They won't...This is confirmed to be BL with Jiho x Sangjun as the main couple!! The only change we know of so…
The change we should be seeing in a Korean BL is more gay representation. We don't need more "straight" shenanigans. 99% of Kdramas have that covered

I won't accept their addition

People can react however they want to the adaptation. I'm standing firm on my "No Straight" policy

People seriously love to complain lmao be happy this show is even seeing the light of day, it has taken FOREVER.
The real blessing would be if we didn't have to add in a "straight" storyline to get an okay from the homophobic powers that be. I'm not going to be happy or grateful for a half-gay, half-straight appetizer when I asked for a full-course, fully-gay meal

"I am ok with that"

I'm not okay with it, I'm counting my annoyances

"... the "straight couple" added, aren't made up but existing characters/ friends of the BL couple just without the love line between them"

We know the characters were present in the source material, it's their so-called "love line" that's made up and faker than a YouTuber's apology video

You couldn't be more right about these fans. They are experts at hating. They've questioned our intelligence, our sanity, even wished for our digital demise, and they call us "haters?"

I didn't insult them back, I'm letting their malicious behavior speak for itself

Why are people appalled by sexuality ? it's erotic and it is art. Ya'll be watching different criminals play out…
"It does take talent to make an erotic scene"

The "talent" you need is the ability to breathe heavily and make exaggerated facial expressions. A plant could do that

"... in order to actually be credible"

The actors and actresses are too polished and well-rehearsed to depict the raw, spontaneous nature of "sex." Their performances feel artificial. They'd have to hire cameramen with shaky hands and set the lighting to "dungeon" to give it a realistic, credible feel

"The asian culture did cherish and treated sex as art"

I'm Asian, I don't treat "sex" as art

"... but i meant the crimes themseleves"

The real crime is how many actors and actresses endure the grueling task of faking pleasure so that viewers can get their jollies in the name of "art"

"People watch people immitate murder with no moral issues, what is the problem with immitating sex?"

"Murder" scenes are handled with care and sensitivity. They are depicted as being negative. Viewers aren't expected to approve of "murder" and the scenes make this position clear. Explicit "sex" scenes are depicted as being positive, without regard for their negative effects or implications. They're not given the same consideration and attention as "murder" scenes. Some viewers feel uncomfortable for that reason

Accusing me of using bots is the digital equivalent of accusing someone of having imaginary friends. Trust me, my friends are real, and they believe you're being ridiculous

"Sex" isn't art, it's not a creative endeavor that requires talent or training

For most of history, people were having "sex" in smelly, lice-infested conditions. You consider it "art" because you have showers and deodorant

"Ya'll be watching different criminals"

Watching a "criminal" mastermind outsmart the incompetent police is more interesting than watching two people pretend to have "sex"

Wait until you find out that the number 1 consumer of BL content is straight women. Guess straight men ain't getting…
BL is a genre that depicts romantic relationships between men. Unlike other forms of gay content that end tragically for the gay characters or couples involved, BL tends to focus on the fluffy, heartwarming parts of gay relationships

idk, probably removed from the drama as well :(
Adaptations of "straight" stories preserve or emphasize the "straight" elements. Adaptations of gay/lesbian stories downplay or remove the gay/lesbian elements. This differential treatment is a form of targeted, homophobic censorship that we shouldn't accept. We should resist it and advocate for greater visibility in media

Yep. I dislike GL, would never read it, don't watch it (big BL fan tho), but it's insane that they took a GL property…
I dislike "straight" stories. A "straight" adaptation of the GL source material would've been a damaging act of straightwashing, and I would've vehemently opposed such a decision

The removal/censorship of the GL content is damaging enough. The producers are alienating a substantial portion of their potential audience that would've tuned in for the drama's GL elements

We're all ones and zeros in the digital world. We should get a say in what's shown or transmitted online

"May be you haven't put dedication in achieving anything in your life"

I've put time and effort into expressing my opinions. That takes dedication. And it's more fun than the boring jobs out there

"... even Caitlyn Jenner says that, and she used to be a man in sports"

He's still a man

"... it's a free world, they can do whatever they want"

Pretending to be something one is not isn't an acceptable use of one's freedom, it violates the rights and spaces of others. Your other points are well-reasoned

Who are you to tell me who I am to say what should be shown? I'm the authority on my own opinions. And my opinion is that the drama stinks like a fish market on a hot day

"Are you the State authority? Certification board? director/producer of this show?"

Who says you should be in charge to have an opinion? I'm not related to politics, that doesn't stop me from talking about it. Why would not being related to the drama stop me from talking about it?

"When everyone involved are so dedicated in doing this"

Dedication doesn't guarantee a good product

"They who are pouring the money"

The people "pouring the money" should be more discerning in what they invest in. They have money to burn, but they don't know what's good for the audience

"If a character is obsessed with sex ..."

A character's "sexual" obsessions or manipulations don't need to be explicitly shown. You know that scene in horror movies or dramas where a character is on a bloody rampage and you don't see the gore? The implication engages the imagination and draws on our fears or insecurities to create a terror more personalized and insidious than explicit representation

The scariest monsters are the ones you don't see

"Guess your grass is spilled with your trash"

My lawn is as well-kept as a championship golf course

Littering on the grass might be a smart move, though, it'd deter would-be thieves. Nothing screams "stay away" like a lawn piled high with trash bags

"Should you not camp in a show that you like? Or may be you like dwelling in trash?"

When I'm done playing with this trash, I'll move on to the next shiny thing
