I genuinely wonder what the difference between Top saying he wants to be better for Mew (with it being accepted/expected) versus Boston saying he wants to do better (and being told good luck with that/continue being a whore in NY).
I'm definitely not mad at Nick or Mew, because it is Mew's choice to forgive who he wants and it's Nicks choice to not accept anything less someone's full devotion. But I find Boston's blunder to be way more realistic than what's being pushed with Top. People do not change overnight.
Both Boston and Top were "whores" who had no respect for monogamous relationships, but I'm expected to believe that Top is now going to be the perfect angel to Mew? I don't believe Top is being honest about how difficult it is going to be for him to stay faithful. What about him is so redeemable? He was not a good person, so what would make him one now?
My opnion is that long-term, Boston is more likely to experience a greater AUTHENTIC growth than Top because in the end, he's the only one of them that's faced any real consequences for their actions by being left alone to reflect.
I want to see a season of Boston returning to Thailand and finding himself. I want to see a season of Nick finding himself. I don't even need them together I'm just invested in their personal growth tbh
I love boston but I dont think he and Nick were meant to be. Boston will eventually leave and I love how mature…
I'm fine with those two reuniting after multiple years apart. Sometimes people just need to grow up before they can come together. The timing isn't right and Boston isn't ready for a full blown relationship. They are both very raw right now. They should both take the time to heal from their choices and grow.
I hated sand this episode, I don't care what Ray did in the past, it doesn't mean sand can get a free pass with…
Hate is a strong word, but I was annoyed. I can sympathize with Sand a bit that he may have some lingering complex feelings for Boeing. Remember Boe Left Sand for another man, it's not like Sand ditched him. Now he pops up like nothing ever happened...hmmm kinda like Ray does- this man does have a type. I think Sand is used to being weak and giving in to his lovers despite his hurt. I think he's trying to navigate/fight those lingering inclinations. I can't expect the man to be perfect, but he needs to do better here. I'm sure Ray just shocked some sense into him though.
We can't deny that most of us have once been in Pat's position of taking everything your boss says and does personally because you lack the perspective that experience brings.
We should try to be understanding of Pat's process of growth in the workplace. He'll learn like a lot of us have with time. His feelings are valid, but he should be communicating them effectively with his boss (and Human Resources) instead of holding it all in and then lashing out in frustration.
Jeng is also going to have to learn how to manage more emotional employees. Is he professional, yes, but he can come off slightly cold in his delivery and someone sensitive like Pat won't get a good impression from it. He doesn't need to touch his shoulders like Nan (that bothered me for some reason - maybe cause I'm not a touchy person), but he could start a sentence with "I understand you may feel..../I don't mean to make you feel......but this is my intent behind.....". Also, suggesting someone that's already feeling isolated to keep their distance from the only person that they could talk to pissed me off - just tell Nan to stop touching his shoulders and to give everyone equal time. Idk if unconscious jealousy played a part in Jeng doing that (I've been peeping this man's facial expressions when Nan and Put are around Pat).
I'm pretty sure that Put established that Pat spent time overseas when he said "Why didn't you tell me Pat was…
I'm not discounting that at all. It's certainly possible.
I just think the knowledge that Pat traveled, along with the fact that he can appear like a know-it-all/show-off when he feels slighted (e.g. writing his peer review in English - even his friend said his boss would know it was him if he did that) makes me think Pat would pull that out of his ass all on his own.
That translation of whatever Pat said to the gross guy was offensive and non-applicable. "straight white male"?…
I'm pretty sure that Put established that Pat spent time overseas when he said "Why didn't you tell me Pat was back in Thailand?", so if Pat had traveled/stayed anywhere that straight white males were, that might explain him using the reference. People (including white women and the LGBTQ+) use the "straight white male" reference as an insult often in the U.S. when describing what is believed to be toxic patriarchal behavior.
WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (EP6)
This ep. was so fucking beautiful and then at the end I'm left feeling confused and empty.....but why did that feel like the greatest thing I've ever watched. I felt swept away, truly.
This had to be the weakest episode of the season. I'm hoping that the finale isn't as bad, but we'll see. Previously I could ignore the plot holes in this series because we were focusing on building the romance, but now that we are reunited in Bangkok and confronting the villain, we should probably shift the focus to resolving the main conflict now. And the plot holes were massive this episode compared to previous. I think the writing kind of fell apart here for me to be honest - they were not prepared with how to handle this uncle situation and it shows. I did enjoy the series up to this point but this ep was a bit of a letdown.
I like this show and i dont get the negativity, kp and the eclipse has stupid plots too but yall still loved them.…
Eclipse made so little sense. I really tried to like that show but I HATED the plot. I don't hate the actual plot. Do all of the details/execution make sense, no, but I like the actual content of it.
one small issue why wasnt nuengdiao surprised when he saw his bf??? that made me think ahh he must have tell him…
He expected Palm not to listen to him and come to Bangkok. Which is why he thought he saw him in the lobby before - A part of him knew Palm would come to him against his wishes. He cried because he missed him even if he was "disobeyed". He gave Palm an out and he didn't take it.
This show is amazing. Everyone else in this comment section has lost it and has decided to make this show the punching bag for all of their life's frustrations, I'm convinced.
The ROMANCE is 10/10 - which is what I came for, a ROMANCE. CHEMISTRY - 10/10 INTIMACY -10/10 (which does not equate to sex or kissing)
I think this drama character couple (Neung/Palm) is my personal fave from this network. So many romantic moments. The Depth of emotion is there, consistently growing from attraction since the beginning and we got so many moments between them that show how deeply they care for one another. I look forward to Tuesdays because of this show.
The amount of money you need to buy a phone and the one needed to buy a thrift cap is incomparable
He bought it during the shopping montage at the beginning of the ep. And Palm's mom does give them pocket change to go shopping (since she doesn't like cooking) as they have showed in the past.

Argue with the wall, thank you.
