I just don't understand why In and Wang couldn't try again to make this work later. That's the only thing I don't…
Wang already fought for In. The only way they would have worked would be if In reached out/came to Wang - but In never did because he chose not to be brave for a change.
I just feel if they wanted to make this a "romance" instead of social commentary like they did, they could have introduced a time jump at the end showing In eventually crossing that bridge, engaging with the villagers, then traveling to Bangkok and finding Wang to confess his love. But that's not what this story was at its core (unfortunately Lol).
I don't think In would have regardless of Mol. He wouldn't do it even when they were alone. The point is he can't…
Agreed. Mol is and has always been a good excuse for In to not face his feelings. He doesn't have to confront his homosexuality if Mol is willing to take the object of his affection away from him (both times). It's easy for him to be so concerned about giving her what she wants when he so terrified of claiming what could be happiness for himself.
If he wasn't so hung up on Mol's thoughts then In would probably be hung up on Siam's possible apprehensions from the grave or something else irrelevant to his true emotions towards Wang.
He had ample opportunity to realize/accept his feelings for Siam prior to Mol even coming into the picture (Mol met them in college), but he chose to delude himself into thinking those feelings were only of admiration of a senior that had befriended him. This man lived on Delulu Island before Mol, so I don't see her acceptance now as anything that would change In's mind. He's never accepted himself, which is his real issue - not necessarily Mol.
Mol might have "won" the battle, but she lost the war. Wang didn't choose her, he decided not to force his presence on someone that doesn't have the courage to choose him. And Wang said so himself that he has plenty of time to break free. He's just biding his time, so while Mol may be all chipper now that she thinks she manipulated things to go her way, she in for a rude awakening when Wang does eventually make his break from her. She can't keep her son captive forever.
Look we all saw the boxers...but I decided to use my imagination to rationalize for that scene that yes, you can totally have sex with boxers on - there's a hole in boxers for a reason (and it's not for peeing) LOL
Wish people would stop complaining about the wife thing. It's their country's culture and for once in a show, the "wife" brought up the term / suggested to be called it themselves.
Usually we see the term being thrust on them by the Top, but the fact that Rain WANTS to call himself wife is important here. If he likes it for himself, then I love it for him. All of you so big on consent here for something as small as someone being breathed on should also take into consideration that CONSENT was given by Rain to be called wife. It's not offensive in this instance. - no different from saying he wants to be called boyfriend/lover/partner/wife - Rain is labeling himself with what feels most comfortable to him. Please respect that.
You consider homophobia with no back lash as nothing “bad happened”???
Idk how lashing out because your crush is gushing over someone else equates to being homophobic. He didn't even say anything bad about being gay. He essentially said "If your brother loves him so much, why doesn't he just bang him." And he only said so because his crush was gushing and he was jealous. I get how she would get the wrong idea not knowing what his moodiness is about but we as an audience should know better. I've seen a lot of people calling him homophobic and I don't think that word is always applicable. Ignorant sure, but not hateful. He wasn't given the chance to explain his opinion on homosexuality for us to draw that conclusion yet.
This show is 40% commercial (not product placement, but what feels like actual commercials), 40% promoting other GMMTV shows/actors, 20% plot. I swear they created this show to promote GMMTV assets and sponsors more than they did to tell an actual freaking story. I'm very disappointed with this series. The first ep seemed so promising but it quickly went downhill for the reasons previously mentioned.
Somewhat curious what made Vegas’s dad the man that he was, since he said ‘you’re just as bad as our father…
I see him as meaning that Korn gets his cold manipulative controlling nature from their father. He stated that Korn was "greedy" and "only cared about power" - I'm assuming that their dad liked playing them like chess peices against each other for his own sense of control. It rubbed off on them both in different ways....but Korn's nature and personality is probably more in line with their dad's. Kind of like how Kim takes after Korn more than the other brothers - but it's all about how you choose you use those attributes.
Korn cannot be trusted. Pure evil. I suspect the truth lies somewhere in the middle between Korn and Gun's stories. But I'm inclined to believe that Korn is just as evil as his brother. I believe 85% of what that bitch Gun said/15% of what Korn said.
I’m wondering what made Vegas think that Macau was going to abandon him like everyone else. Luckily, Macau proved…
He probably thought Macau might turn on him if his dad ordered it or something. Looking at how tense and backstab-y the relationship between his father and his Uncle Korn was probably made him think that his brother had the potential to turn on him too if provoked. Vegas has low self-worth. He doesn't think anyone would truly choose him (like Pete).
When Pete said “I didn’t like it” and started punching himself I thought he meant the sex so I was like…
Vegas, just keep him horny so he can't think too much about his self-loathing. Only stop turning him on while your in the therapist's office where it's safe Lol
I literally kept thinking about how tactile Vegas always is.From the beginning whenever he caught Pete trying…
Yes! I also can't help thinking about how Vegas looked like he wanted to jump out of his skin (just disgruntled) whenever Tawan touched him tenderly, but he excepted Pete's touches with ease. The only time he didn't was when Pete wanted to see his slap-mark, but I think that's because Vegas knew if Pete touched him he'd breakdown and cry (again).

Erika - You were a real one. I barely knew you, but I loved you like you were my own Auntie. RIP
