more like a light hearted drama... even though its about demons and stuff....
Especially with the random bits of comedy that just seems to fit even when it doesn't fit. It keeps all the dark and heavy from being, well, dark and heavy.
The male leads are gay ,the side characters are gay , so how even they allow this even if it is censored πππ…
Ikr! Why even bother to produce the series, have the actors/actresses put in all that work and time when the series won't be able to air in the first place, at least not in China. It would have to air only internationally and not on a Chinese streaming service (Youku, Tencent, iQiyi, etc.)
Because it will more than likely never see the light of day. China has banned same-sex-adaptation series and movies, even the censored kind. The only way China can do same-sex-adaption series and movies now is if it airs only internationally and not on a Chinese streaming service. It would have to air on Viki, Netflix, GagaOolala, etc.
Wow! This needs to be a full 16 episode series. A one hour and 48 minute movie was not enough time with Lee Jeong Do and team. I need more! 9.5 stars out of 10
someone please tell me the mom dies, shes soooo annoying πππ
Nope, they give her a redemption arc torwards the end of the series on the last couple episodes or so. I wanted to slap her sooo many times π¬π¬π¬π¬π¬
When did they get together?Any breakups? How Long?Any love triangle?Happy ending?
I'm only on episode 17, but I will answer what I can. They get together around episode 11 or 12. After a series of unfortunate events, including a break up in episode 15, she loses her memories and is presumed dead after committing suicide...insert two year time jump. In Episode 16, she meets the male lead again, now under the name Kim Ji Yeong and with a very different look, and begins to work for him, but has no memory of him. In episode 17, he begins to see familiarty between Park DoRa and Kim Ji Yeong. At the end of episode 17, he recognizes the star tattoo on her ankle as part of the star and moon couple tattoo that they had gotten when they were dating, which leads to him confirming that Kim Ji Yeong is actually Park DoRa. That is as far I have gotten in the series. It may not be very helpful, but considering no one was being kind enough to answer your questions and only wanted to say that they didn't like the drama and that it wasn't worth watching, I figured I would at least answer what questions that I could. I find the drama quite enjoyable, but I totally despise her mother, who is very selfish and self-centered with no regard for her children. So far, to me, it is worth watching. I hope my answers provided you with at least some of the info you were looking for while considering whether to watch this drama π I did cheat and watched a Youtube edit of the drama, and it does have a happy ending.
Same! I didn't like him starting in season 1, and it is reaffirmed here in season 2. Teh is a red flag. Maybe not a glaring red flag, but a red flag none the less.
Is there any Official streaming site that has this series for U.S. watchers? I know that DramaCool and KissKH have it, but I always watch a series through official streaming sites when available, even if I have to pay for a month or two of a subscription.
yβall are so annoying in the comments πͺ The drama is not boring itβs simply not for people who love action…
I love action and suspense romance. In fact, it's my go-to genre for TV series, but I also truly loved this series, as well....which is why I read the novel after watching it the first time and am now rewatching the series for the 6th time.
I'm not sure if I'm the only one who noticed or feels the way, but did any of you guys see the chemistry between…
You are not delusional. I noticed it, too. I even read the novel just to see if they were a couple or not...but now it's been so long that I can't remember if they were a couple in the novel or not π€¦ββοΈ I do remember that, in the novel, Mumu was a cop and, I believe, Mo Bai was a teacher. I wish I could remember if they were a couple or not in the novel. If they were, that would explain why, in the TV series, Mumu was not a police officer. In the novel, Mo Qing Cheng is a Neurosurgeon and not a Cardiothoracic surgeon. Not sure why they changed that either. Either way, the novel is really good and I will probably read it again. I'm currently watching the TV series for the 6th time.
