Is anyone having any problems getting Viki to load this morning? I have a Roku brand TV and Viki keeps crashing before it can even fully load. Wasn't sure if they were doing app maintance, if they were having some technical difficulties, or if it is something on my end?? ๐ง๐ซค๐ค

This series was hilarious. Finally, a vertical that is actually worth watching and doesn't follow the same rinse, recycle, repeat storyline of most other vertical dramas. 7.5/10, which is pretty decent for a vertical.
Well, I came to this vertical after seeing a clip on Youtube that made this drama seem like it might be a good one. Nope! Just another rinse, recycle, repeat vertical drama that is basically the same as every other vertical drama. Proudly featuring adults who don't know how to use their inside voices and behave like toddlers throwing temper tantrums, evil scheming all the way around, including from the female lead, making her thoroughly unlikable and some of her actions inexcusable and unjustifiable. The male lead character was only okay, not much depth to him. 3.5/10 stars or 1.75/5 stars, will definitely not watch again.

Not sure why this was tagged as romance. It's not. It's a bromance at best, but it was so short that they didn't even have time to build even that, at least not that viewers were shown.

The name of the novel is Jie Ai Yihe Fenghuan (็ป็ฑยทๅผๅฎข้ขๆฌข) by Shi Dingrou. You can find partial english translations for it by searching for Moonshine and Valentine Chinese Novel. Unfortunately, there is not a single complete translation anywhere to be found. Many of the translations are machine translations and, thus, are really bad. To this day, all these years later, I still do not know the actual ending that this series was suppose to have according to the novel ๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐คทโโ๏ธ Please let me know if you were ever able to find a complete translation. I would love to know the actual ending of the novel and not the open ending that the series gave us.

Yes, the romance is good. It is slow burn, but it is so obvious it is there even by episode 5. This series should absolutely have have the romance tag.
So, I am a little confused. I have the iQiyi Premium membership and was trying to watch this drama. Of course, the episodes are locked starting on episode 11, which I thought they would be automatically unlocked considering that I have the Premium VIP subscription. It only gives me the option to purchase coins with no way, at least not that I have found, to earn free coins like all other vertical drama apps have. Is there a way to earn free coins on iQiyi that I just haven't found yet?
This is giving way too much of a cheap My Demon knockoff vibe. There are WAY too many similarities between My Demon and this series to be coincidental. Just when it starts to finally find its own storyline after the first seven episodes, then it steers right back into My demon knockoff territory, over and over and over again throughout the rest of the series. This is the most unofficial remake I think I have ever seen of a series. And I almost forgot to mention that it also uses the intro theme song from My Demon, True by Yoari, several times throughout the Bound to the God series. Can they be any more obvious about it?

I loved this sweet little drama. I wish it would get added to iQiyi, Tencent, or Youku now that they have started airing vertical dramas. This is such a super underrated drama. 8.5/10 ๐ฅฐ
