Can't they produce one normal romcom with simple happy happy story for the main leads without any breakups and…
If you want fluffy-fluffy with no drama, no break-up, and no trauma, watch Love Me, Love My Voice starring Tan Jian Ci and Zhou Ye. Super sweet, super fluffy. Totally different vibe than Speed and Love, but still amazing.
Honestly all these comments about always acting cute. I'm 30 AND I act cute around people I'M CLOSE TO. And in…
Many people also don't seem to realize that this is also a culture difference. Most western countries don't use "cute" or "aegyo" voice/behavior, but it is not uncommon in many Asian cultures. I have gotten used to it overtime from watching Asian dramas, and I no longer find it odd nor does it bother me anymore.
I don’t drink but I’m curious when you’re drunk and you drink water or eat does that make you less drunk?…
It's not fully the water makes you less drunk. You will still maintain that blood alcohol level for sometime, but the more you drink, the more you flush the alcohol out of your system as waste. Alcohol is also dehydrating, so by drinking water you help minimize the side effects of dehydration. Drinking plenty of water also helps reduce the severity of hangovers, which are often caused by alcohol induced dehydration.
Unless I am missing something, it feels like Shine On Me may release sometime this week. Tencent has posted Shine On Me promo posters and videos on their Instagram page multiple times within the last 72 hours. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞
How can they cast Mike D'Angelo and not give him a single thai line thus far?? Isn't the setting in Thailand?
Same! He did speak Thai in episode 6, but it sounds like it is dubbed. I can't tell if he did the dubbing himself or if it is a voice actor that dubbed it, though.
Can someone tell me why's the "next ep countdown timer" not showing ???
MDL hasn't updated the page yet. They don't even show it as having aired yet, which is why the episode countdown timer hasn't started. I can't even add it to my currently watching list until they update it.
Thanks. I try to rate realistically. To me a drama that I rate 7.0 to 7.5 is just an average drama, not much that stands out about it, but not bad either. Anything above 7.5, I would watch again. 9.5 and above, I would watch over and over again, many, many times.
I try not to over-rate or under-rate a drama because then I just end up confusing myself when I go back later to look at my drama ratings to see what show I might want to re-watch while waiting for a new drama to air.
Let me start with the fact that this was a REALLY good series....but I will never be watching it again! I could write off all her actions as understandable, not agreeable, but I could understand why she chose those actions at the time based off of her psychology and trauma....that was up until Heo In Gang. Heo In Gang is where she started a downward spiral that there was no coming back from. Her actions were no longer excusable. At that point, she was simply using anyone she could to get what she wanted. If they had a use, she would manipulate and use them until they were of no more use, and then she would toss them like trash when she was done. Kim Jae Oh was the straw that broke the camel's back. It was Kim Jae Oh's death, and the role that Baek Ah Jin played in it, that finally made Yoon Jun Seo face the truth, that Baek Ah Jin was never going to change, was not capable of changing. Jun Seo also knew that she was never going to stop, that she would continue this path of death and destruction until she reached the very end, and so he chose to end her path, their path. The only thing I wish Jun Seo would have done during that exposé, was to also out Baek Ah Jin's equally sociopathic husband. In the end, her husband walks free with the world none the wiser. I also have mixed feelings about Baek Ah Jin surviving when those who had always cared most about her, were always there for her, no matter what, did not.
And why is there still a romance tag on this drama. This drama IS NOT a romance. There is no romance in this drama. None. The couple episodes of Heo In Gang and Baek Ah Jin WERE NOT romance. They were pure emotional manipulation on Baek Ah Jin's side, and completely one-sided love on Heo In Gang's that ended in an absolute tragedy that makes Romeo and Juliet look like a happy ending, because in Romeo and Juliet, at least the love was mutual. Here, definitely not. So, don't come into this series thinking you will get romance. Trust me, you won't. You will just end up with trauma.
