I could totally see them pulling a he's actually not evil moment. I hope not though. If he were not that bad he shouldn't have have wanted the issue with wages to be covered. I'll be a little annoyed if they walk back later and say he was actually working to fix the issue all along behind the scenes.

Yeah. The idea of someone being able to hack into your vehicle is terrifying. 😬 And the more unnecessary electronic features you add as replacements, the easier it is for things to go wrong.

Oh good point! My mind didn't click that it might have been found as a part of the investigation, but that makes sense! I thought maybe a servant/spy managed to find the FL's copy (I don't remember where she put it). Hopefully, it wasn't that they found his along with the kings command, and will hide away the evidence. The poor guy has enough obstacles to fulfilling his brother's last wish, freely showing himself shining, and removing the role's burden from his nephew as it is.

Someone (Serendipity username) helped explain what all the titles meant earlier. And that each name change represented him demeaning him more. His name at first meant bright, then protector/guardian (meaning he needs to be loyal to the crown) and his last change means to be still/humble. He was telling him to stay in his lane and not shine more than his brother, even if it meant shrinking himself. It's why the FL is important for him, beyond just affection, she is someone who will help him and be supportive of him to take action and shine as he is clearly meant to (as his name and talents show, and as that was the role his late brother intended to pass to him).

You could be right, sometimes our "tingly feelings" about these types ngs are right on track. At the very least he is more of an important figure to the story than many of the other workers throughout the drama, with the spirit he adds to the story.

I'm pretty sure it's implied the the SFL's father was the one who sabatoged her car. I believe I remember her and him talking about it and saying it wouldn't seem odd for something to happen to her since she has so many enemies. (Thus they should be able to get away with getting rid of her).

She was poisoned as an accident when the cups were switched, but yes, the grand prince was the intended target. If it was these two behind it again, I think it would because he knows that they did not obey the kings command and things suspiciously happened just as they wanted instead, versus that they didn't want the FL as his wife like initially.

The would be murderer(s) wanted to make it look like an accident with him overdosing on a medicine he used, and having a more undetectabke means of killing him made them chose a reckless plan for doing so, that could go wrong easily enough. The car plan was quite close to being successful though, is just that they couldn't have planned for the ML's interference.

I didn't feel that way, but I suppose the fact that he started doting on the FL so quickly could be suspicious.

Maybe it's just that he associates him more with the time around the queens death. And during the time when it was just him and their one son, the queen was still alive. He would hate that the son that reminds him of his wife's death was more of a fitting royal heir, versus the favorite son of his earlier happier life. Then couldn't handle it when everything didn't go his way.

I feel like there is a level of secrecy to it myself. Kinda wondering if he did something bad after they had the first kid that the queen didn't like and he had her killed, but he still had some sort of obsessive affection for her. Then maybe he associates the first born with the time when their relationship wasn't destroyed. And his second son with a time closer to her death and the potential guilt he feels over it? Could be way off with that though.

I loved that scene. ❤️ He showed how distraught and afraid he had felt so well. And her soft words to comfort him so delicately really gave the moment between them an added level of vulnerable intimacy that was so tender and affectionate.
