Blue whisper has great soundtrack too, I don't love all the songs but main theme Fish Leaps Up instrumental is my rington for a year now, i love that song to pieces.

Omg i love soundtracks in this drama. Like, I love every song and instrumental themes too. That rarely happens to me recently, I always like 1, max 2 songs from 1 drama. Last time it happened was LBDAF.

I heard, drama doesnt follow novel much?
I hope, YY finds a way to bypass that spell. However, I dunno why would Heavenly Empress mention it, if they not going to use it later.

I have to agree. Like I always get excited when WZ uses her phoenix powers but every time it's her flying up, doing one fire hit and she loose consciousness, lasts half a min. Dunno, maybe it's budget constrains or smth.
Anticlimatic - you used best word describe it haha. Couple story also same, they hype up outcome of betrayal, then WZ and YY just have small talk; you wait them have honest conversation and reunite, it's one sentence dialogue too.

Omg, i loved this 2 episodes for all action and plot moving forward but seriously, they keep making YY the most useless ML ever in xianxia. Like give me the most cheesy cliche moments, when he saves WZ or take hits for her, stop constantly knocking him off in the crucial moments. Also, why sweet moment between couple was 1 min hug only, we barely have them having any interaction in recent episodes, and that's all we get TT
WZ have more scenes with MN, and with him protecting, sacrificing for her, as well as him having much better character growth ark (his dialogue with WZ about finding his own purpose in life was so touching) than YY, he feels more like a ML now XDD. I keep loving his character more and more, and last moments of 28 made me sad, he is best charachter in this drama for now tbh. Please, don't kill him.
I did like though how they setting up YY becoming demon lord. But, please, don't make him have amnesia again, once is enough.

Maybe, she remember it later, but it feels having her bitter at YY later would be weird, cause we saw his double betrayal just recently. And I really hate that CY never actually got any sort of punishment for killing so many people, who was kind to him.

I like when you have supporting charachters arks, it's just episode wasnt balanced at all. I mean you can have her scenes in between main plot scenes, but not make it take half of episode after we had major break of main leads.

I think depends on your taste, as you see from all replies, which are different. I personally loved TTEOTF the most this year so far. BFTB I had to drop because it was very dull for me, although I was looking forward a lot to watch it.
There is many problems with BOR, but I keep watching it compared to BFTB.

Omg why this 2 episodes had so much fillers. Like Fox Princess chatting with Yi Er has no substance and it took so much time.
I was kinda hoping seeing bit more evil vengetfull WZ but she still tries find excuses for YY. I mean, I can understand him in present but he was absolutely terrible to her in past life. Maybe she needs actually yo remember that, not just see a video.

Also, quick question. Anyone knows, if there were any cuts in this drama.
Tbh, some editing is so weird, with some scenes cutoff so abrutly, with no smooth transitions to next scenes. Like yesterday in latest episode I kinda laughed at last scene with them floating towards each other in clouds after she was in the burned village moments ago. Like shouldn't there be a scene, when they meet in the ground, fight and go up.😄

I finished all available episodes, and tbh, past life story ark is so lucklaster. Maybe, because I don't like politics storylines, especially with all those generals dicussions abt plans/tactics. I had to ff a lot, which i didn't in main plot ark.
I like the chemistry between main leads, but somehow it was missing when they are CY and WY. I couldn't even understand how they fell in love with each other, it was so abrupt. Didn't feel like it was deep love for the angst in later episodes. I liked much more MN and WY pairing, his love was so genuine, I wished she loved him instead.
Well, I am glad we going back to present now.

Ye, I am guessing so, especially considering that he remembered the talk with artefacts shop owner, that he already knows how to save her.
That scene when he tries to kill her so confusing and so abruptly cutoffed, hope there was smth else in that scene.

I watched all available episodes now, and I saw no twist haha, except that she was the one, who created formula.

So, do we have same situation here as in LBDAF, when ML tries to make FML not love him so she won't die from Formula?

I started watching this series 2 days ago, and now on ep 17.
It's so weird, I think, the plot lags and boring at times, everything that happens is so cliche with classic xianxia tropes, acting is not always good, but... I cannot stop watching and loving this drama😂😂😂 I was waiting for BTTB, but dropped it. I never heard about this drama before it aired, and it has me hooked.
I love music in this drama, and CGI, design of all places so dreamy, fight sequinces are nice.

Starting past life ark now, which has kinda boring start, although i like more emotional ML.

So, i was rewatching ep 33-34, and even after reading threads explaining cut scenes, i still feel a bit confused about what happened when. I mean, Susu dress contstantly changes😅😅 Anyone, who knows, can explain me the actual chronology of events in original scenario?
