Undoubtedly, the story is really interesting but the pacing is hella slow

My thoughts exactly. It's so effing slow that I skipped from episode 8 to 13 and I'm sure I missed nothing of importance.

The synopsis is way off base.

My sentiments exactly. I'm on episode 12 and still there's nothing or anyone to root for.

I'm 43 minutes in and find the whole thing rather boring and tired-looking. I'm still wondering why it took the Hollywood award season by storm way back then. Smh

Looks interesting, will wait for all episodes to be uploaded before continuing.

Li Hui Zhu is a genius behind the camera. The way she shot Princess Weiyoung and Princess Silver can only be described as masterful. So many perfectly shot scenes in PS but the one I re-watched severally was of Regent Chen at his desk in his study while speaking with Chenyu (ep 49). It was just a few minutes long but the symbolism of the camera angles was so apt. PC was filmed obliquely while Chenyu was filmed head-on, perfectly capturing Chen as the greedy backstabbing guy and Chenyu as being more forthright. Absolutely insanely talented

This young actor has skills better than some older actors. His performance in Joy of Life was hilarious
