I can't think of anything Hyun Gyu's benefitted from So Hee directly except the group effort, which everyone contributed. Hyun Gyu has one ofthe lowest pieces of the four persons in the group(living space) that is why after every main game, someone has to save him from going to prison. So surely its not the pieces he benefitted from her. He hasn't yet even reaped the reward of playing the hidden game but he did support her to get the 4 points in the treasure hunt game by giving her his clues.

Hyun Gyu is the reason she was able to steal the four pieces. He found the clue to the treasure hunt and shared it with her. He wanted her to win for helping in the hidden game. Also, you can't say she leaves her work for others. Kyun Hyun was the one who found the hidden game. So Hee was the one who found that the pieces could open the door. But she thought it had to be a pair. Hyun Gyu was the one who found that only one piece could open the door by accident when it slipped into the hole. Hyun Gyu was the one working on it and even memorized the puzzle.
I think Hyun Gyu winning is deserved because he was the one who took the risk while others didn't. And after the game, he shared with only So Hee and Kyun Hyun about the exact game he did and lied to the rest. He also shared only to these two that there is a clue in the final but he didn't know. He can only know if he reaches the final. And that information was only shared to those two. But somehow everyone found out so someone must have shared the secret. We didn't get to see who.
Also, don't say without So Hee, he wouldn't be so successfully. From what I saw, its only that hidden game she helped him with. He very much used his brain to solve the game. Also, for the other games, they worked together that is why she even has more pieces than him at this point. I just think your opinion is so biased.

I have watched a few Yoon So Hee's film so I just thought its just another pretty actress. Wow, she really surprised me. She's so smart.
At first, I thought Hyun Gyu was just getting lucky by the alliances he formed that was why he survived the games. But when he survived the hidden games and solved two games in under 5 minutes, I just knew then I had underestimated him.
In my view, Yoon So Hee is really smart but we really slept on Hyun Gyu's ability. Heck, he might be the smartest than all of them there. I think he will survive the games especially now that he knows its all of them against him😂. Let's wait and see what his brains comes up with the next episode. Though, I am abit worried because he said he got greedy and now he wanted to full savage mode in the flash-forward we saw.

I got goosebumps watching todays episodes. I thought wow 5 episodes are enough to satisfy my curiosity. But getting to the last episode proved me wrong. Wow, what a show.

But you know what I really like about them together, its when Jimin is driving them to the date and they get stuck on traffic. Jimin actually leans forward and places his head on the steering wheel and tilts his head to look just at her and you get to see him smile at her as if he has seen the most beautiful thing ever. You can clearly see that the man is in love and not just attracted to her. Like that's such a killer move. Who taught him that? 😂

I have to agree with the panelists. Jimin's main charm is his honesty. Like he asked Jeyeon if she would like if he kept his options open. I don't think he meant he actually wanted to pursue other people. I think he alluded to the idea of her pursuing one person. If I understand it right, he wanted to take off the pressure from her so he doesn't get in her way if she would want to pursue others too. But she couldn't answer that maybe because she has never put that much thought into it. So he could see it was a tricky question in itself and was quick to say he ( referring to her) could do whatever he wants.
I think he is being smart so that he doesn't come off to strongly. I also think him not going after her when she came back from her date with the male catfish was smart too. Pursuing someone and finding the perfect balance of not coming too strongly is smart. I don't know if him saying he doesn't believe in fate is for her benefit but I feel it really fits his personality. He says when he is attracted to someone, he adjusts to them. I think thats why we get to see him make an effort on someone he likes. He values being attracted to someone I think because he finds making an effort effortless when its that person.
I really can't read Jeyeon that well though. I saw her considerate side when she told him about what she did and who she was with. I don't know if that's something you do solely when you like someone or if its her being polite. But she doesn't look like the polite kind just for the sake of it. She seems strong minded. So, I believe she is finally opening up. But I don't know if its because she likes the idea of someone approaching her or she is actually attracted to him. I guess we will have to wait and see. But I want to give her the benefit of doubt.

Yeah, I am really worried for the FL catfish. They only have 2 weeks at the house so it means she gets half the time compared to everyone else. I mean who came up with this concept of catfish? Okay, its good to shake things up but if you zero in to an individual, it looks a bit unfair. Its like preparing a race and have some start earlier than the rest but still expect them to succeed. I mean they're people too and want to find someone to marry just like the rest of them.
All catfish should have been added at least when they got back in Korea. Just look at the male catfish, he will have to literally force his way to forge any connection or catch up with the rest of them in terms of their stay at the house.

I hate to say it this way, you can't compare them. It isn't about them as a person but their charming points. Jeyeon is completely opposite from Jiwon. Jiwon responds to being pursued relatively well than Jeyeon.
Jimin's charming point is his wit and humor, which makes you to like him as you spend more time with him. So that's why Jeyeon may become curious.
Chanhyeong charming point is his achievement and his overall kind persona, which everyone can already spot. So you're either curious of him at a glance or not.
And as far as we can see, we can't definitely say Jeyeon is smitten by Jimin even after countless efforts from him. So, I have to agree with @lalaontheline, Jeyeon becoming swayed by Chanhyeong is wide off the mark.

And he did say that he gave her signal to pursue him when he said she should be brave during his reading. Yunjeong was too careful to even think about that at the time.

Yeah, I think I did say we're all biased towards the end of my comment. What do you mean they lacked depth? Towards the end of the contract date, Jeyeon said that the one thing she liked about him was that he would ask a lot of questions about a person which showed he was curious about them.
The animal you look like is a Korean thing. Its used to compliment someone or tease. Its just banter its not supposed to count as something you should consider whether its deep or not.
Jimin asking how she felt the 3 days contract date is something deep. He also shared his feelings. That was deep. Unless you wanted them to share TMI (Too Much Information) while they're getting to know each other.
But as someone who goes on dates, I ask them about their day and what they do. I think that's what Jimin did. You're trying to get to know them and their preference. And their date was full of that.
